Aster's POV

Waiting all those years to pass by was torture. I debated whether crashing their wedding was worth it or not but it would've been incredibly risky with the Addams family and their antics.

I knew Enid would start to go through hormonal changes wanting a child and I KNEW that getting a pet wouldn't be enough. Time kept ticking, and word got out that our legends had a child and everyone was adamantly waiting to see if it would attend Nevermore, as if I'd ever let that happen.

One night I decided I had enough waiting time and went to their house. It was far from my first time visiting though they never knew of my previous visits. I was there gathering information about their habits and watching them happily live their stupid short lives.

If only they knew what was coming. The death of their child and potentially them- if not they'd be my prisoners in a place no one would ever think to find them. My niece Yoko was my whole world and her almost eternal life was cut extremely short by that filthy dog and lifeless corpse of a woman.

Enid's POV

Wednesday and I banged on the door to Aster's office right before the sun set and was welcomed by her ugly ass smiling. "You two are getting in the car with me for a special treat."

I was hoping by some miracle October was in there and we would be able to dash away with her and never set foot in the halls of Nevermore again. When we got into the backseat of Aster's car there was no sign of our daughter and we had no option but to wait and see where we were being driven.

I gripped Wednesday's hand as we began to pass by the forest where I was attacked, and gripped even harder when I saw that we weren't just driving by it.

We were going to that same exact area.

"Well hurry up now you do want to see her right?" Aster said getting out of the car. Wednesday pulled me out of the car and supported my stumbling body as we walked to the same exact clearing we had been in when we were teenagers.

Only this time there were 3 other vampires greeting us while Tobi cried swaddled up in a blanket, tied to the same tree I was. "What the hell is this?" Wednesday said trying to push her way to Tobi.

The vampires, who ended up being Yoko and Aster's family, took a warning step toward her. "Don't act on impulse Addamsinclair, you'll have your chance to see her. The sky was now turning darker and darker by the minute, and I started to scream out for her.

"PLEASE JUST GIVE HER BACK TO US!" I was sobbing and Wednesday was scanning the rest of the forest for any other sign of escape or anything to help us but there was nothing.

Two of the men went up to us and held us back and pinned us to the ground while the third flicked a zippo lighter open.

"Aster please, we'll do anything you want just don't hurt her" Wednesday was crying and helpless and I could tell even if she could fight she wouldn't be able to do anything like she would normally be able to.

She fell weak under the pain of losing our child. The moon shined bright through the open space where we were and the flames fell beneath the blue baby blanket where Tobi screamed louder and louder.

Wednesday's eyes shut tight and dirt was now turning into mud against her face as we were held down forced to watch this happen.

Aster had left out one important thing in her mind though. It was a full moon.

Tobi turned first, with fur sprouting and canines lashing out she ripped through the fabric of the blanket and dropped to the ground running at one of the men and trying to attack.

I turned only seconds behind her and the one vampire holding me down struggled with confusion how I was maneuvering away so quickly without the ability to realize that I had changed forms because in the blink of an eye his head was torn right off.

"ENID TAKE HER AND RUN!" Wednesday yelled frantically at me. Aster and the other woman charged at me and we all struggled to fight each other until I kicked Aster far away and the woman was also, fortunately, beheaded by my own jaws.

Hearing her screams would've brought me some satisfaction if I didn't hear Wednesday also screaming for her life.

October bit the man who was holding Wednesday down and I took a good lunge at him. I had slashes all over me but didn't give up until he was dead and all that stood between me and my family was Aster.

Wednesday struggled to stand up and I guarded her small body with my snarling teeth, but those snarls faded as the transformation doesn't last long. I was back to my human form shrouded in the big jacket I had laying beside me.

I was bleeding a lot and Tobi resumed to human crying clutching Wednesday for dear life. "You can't save yourselves anymore, you're weak and bleeding, your daughter can't fight, and poor Wednesday can hardly stand."

I looked back at her and saw that somehow Wednesday had been cut in various places and I realized it must've been me while I was fighting the man who had her.

She was gasping for air and trying to stand up but Aster laughed at the sight of us. "Your family will be in peace soon enough" she said. "What NO!" I screamed as she jumped over to Wednesday making both of them collapse onto the ground.

I tried to run to them but Aster kicked me with a force I didn't know she had, and I fell to the ground with the wind knocked right out of me.

I could barely move my arms let alone the rest of me, and I had to painfully watch as Aster bent down and sunk her fangs deep into Wednesday's neck.

I tried to scream but I still couldn't get any air inside of my lungs and the best I could do was reach my feeble fingers out to touch Wednesday's and watch as her life was being taken from me.

She struggled and convulsed but in the end couldn't fight what was happening. Her fingers curled around mine and she looked at me and whispered

"I love you"

Her hand turned limp and her eyes glazed over. She was gone. And as soon as she died I was able to catch my breath, like she passed on her remaining oxygen to me.

I gave one final swing at Aster, successfully slashing her throat with my nails and threw her to the side knowing she wouldn't be alive for even 5 more seconds.

I crawled to Wednesday and looked at her lifeless face. Lips parted open, her eyes dull, her breath no longer making her chest rise and fall.

"No no no wake up Wednesday" I cried brushing her hair out of her face. "Wednesday please I'm here now, we can go home..."

I fell on her chest and held her body against mine hoping my heartbeat would be enough to give her back her life. But no such thing happened.

"We can go home... JUST WAKE UP!" I yelled into the sky, knowing there was no going back and that she really was just..

Dead.
