"Your bakery! A website published a phenomenal review for it!"
"I didn't know myself! Let me read it and I'll call you back." I quickly hung up.
"It was supposed to be a surprise. We were gonna take you to dinner tomorrow and tell you, but surprise!" Jorja cheered.
"Awe thank you." I smiled.
"Can you still pretend like it's a surprise when we tell you?" Jorja begged.
"Yes."
"So excited. Should I do the curls tonight? Or should I straighten my hair? We're going clubbing."
"Curls. How do you get your hair so soft?"
"The best product in the world. Curls by Athena."
"Oh, she makes hair stuff too?"
"Hair stuff and more. She came out with a cookbook, she paints, she makes clothes, can you tell that I'm her number one fan?"
"Couldn't tell at all."
"Oh, and when baby L is born, she has a line for babies. It's called, Baby by Athena."
"Noted." I chuckled.
I stopped in my tracks.
"Luca alert." I quickly grabbed her hand. "Why am I seeing him everywhere all of a sudden."
"That's the universe saying, text him! Better yet, go approach him."
But it was too late, Lucas had entered the tall skyscraper.
"I can just text him."
"Go in the building!" Jorja urged.
"What! No?"
"Fine." Jorja grabbed my hand while walking me towards the door.
"Oh, My God! It's Athena Landon!" I pointed.
"Where?" Jorja let go.
I quickly scurried away.
"Lulu!"

It was pouring down outside and all I wanted to do was listen to music while looking out the window.
Rain always calmed me down. It blocked out the world and gave me time to think to myself. That's all I needed was a moment to myself.
Not worrying about the bakery, my sister, or the baby that sat in my stomach.
What was I gonna do? I know my time is running up and I couldn't ignore the fact that I was pregnant, but still, it didn't seem real.
Luca made me even more nervous. He's an ass and nine times out of ten, he'll deny that the baby is even his.
But, Lola's right. I don't have enough money to support a baby, myself, and my bakery. I barely have enough for myself and my bakery. I'd have to move back home and become under the control of my religious parents. That's something I didn't want.
The more I kept the secret, the more unbelievable it'll become. I have to tell him, now. If not now then never.
"Hey. We're going out tonight, despite the rain."
Pierce walked in."I wanna go."
"What? You can't."
"I can't drink, but I can still party. Plus, Luca might be there and maybe if he's a little buzzed, it'll blow over sooner. I don't know. I just know I can't sleep another night without telling him."
"Okay, get dressed." Pierce shrugged before walking out.
"Bitch you're going out?" Jorja questioned. "Popping low before you can't pop it low no mo?"
I laughed.
"Does Lola know?"
"No, she doesn't, and please don't tell her. She'll throw a hissy fit." I shook my head while opening my closet door.
"I'll never get tired of your southern phrases and accent." Jorja shook her head before plopping down on my bed.
"This okay?" I questioned while holding up the dress.
"Simple. Perfect."

"Lola. You don't have to stay by my side the entire night. I promise you that I'm okay." I shook my head.
"Nuh-uh. The last time I trusted you, you ended up pregnant. Plus I need to be here when you tell Luca about this situation." She looked around.
"I expect a little privacy when I tell him."
"Yeah sure."
We sat down on the black leather couch, nodding along to the music.
"I had a scare, before. Well not scare, I was put in your postion." Lola started while looking around.
"What?"
"In high school, when I was dating Randy, we had sex. We were kids and didn't know about protection. Anyways, I got pregnant." She shook her head. "And for that short period I felt like my world was falling apart."
"Why didn't you tell me, Lolo?"
"Because I was scared and I didn't want it to be true. So I went by myself, to the clinic and I got the procedure done." She looked down at her lap. "I've regretted that decision every single day."
"Lolo." I pulled her in a hug.
"I'm hard on you because I want you to know that you have people who will help. You aren't alone. I felt so alone during that time and that's why I made the decision." She cried. "But if I could go back in time. If I would have received help..."
"I'm so sorry." I was lost for words.
Lola sighed. "Your the only person who knows. So let's keep it between us?"
"Of course."
"There." Lola pointed before looking away.
I looked over. Luca stood while slowly sipping out of the glass. I cleared my throat before standing up.
"You got this." Lola have a light tap on my butt.
I nodded. I slowly walked over. He smirked.
"Luna."
"Luca."
"I was hoping to see you here." He said.
"Luca."
"Huh?"
I stared at him. Rip the bandaid off, Luna. Just tell him the truth. I bit my lip while staring at my hands. My stomach felt like it dropped.
Tell him. Get it over with.
"I'm pregnant."
"Huh?"
