Last Chapter-
Ford disappointedly sighed as he walked over to the gates. "Shall we go in? It will be safer if we stick together..." Ford smiled invitingly. You nod happily and drowsily walk over to the gates. You and Ford stepped together inside the place guarded by the gate and wall. It was getting dark. The sunset was slowly turning to night. The crickets were chirping, and the owls were hooting. Though you still had a big adventure in front of you.

You walk through the chilly air, Ford is walking beside you. As you got closer to the building you ran your hand along its red brick walls. You touch the walls, and they feel exactly like normal, though something wasn't right. You turn to Ford, "Hey! Watch out!" Ford stepped back immediately as the wooden steps collapsed on themselves revealing a pool of chocolate underneath. "Y-Y/N... How did you know that was going to happen?" Ford looked at you. You thought to yourself, but in the end, all you could do was respond with a shrug. Ford sighed as he stepped carefully over the wooden-chocolate mess. You followed Ford.
Mabel and Dipper were already inside. Dipper was analyzing things as he had the journal with the pine tree symbol on it, and he was painstakingly writing in his journal with a chewed-up pen. He must have a bad habit of biting pencils and pens when he's thinking or nervous. He even had a splotch of dark blue ink on his red shirt, you could see that it was recent. Mabel, on the other hand, was a goofball. She was also analyzing things, but mostly what type of candy she should eat.
"It's getting late outside, we should probably find a place to sleep," Ford exclaimed as he pushed up his broken glasses. You look around, it looked like a giant empty warehouse. Besides the boxes of random candy sitting here and there, it was practically empty. There was also a pile of hay sitting in the corner, "Hey, let's hit the hay." You jokingly smiled as you pointed at it. Mabel started giggling, but she couldn't hold her laughter any longer, "Hit the hay! Quite literally, and in both ways!" Mabel was clenching her stomach from laughter. Ford smiled and chuckled as Dipper looked annoyed at you, but also laughed.
You plop down on the hay and fall asleep. You don't remember anything after that point. You thought the adventure group also laid down with you.
"Hey, S/N, long time no see!" Bill appeared in front of you. He opened his eye and floated down to you. "You know, living in your mind isn't as bad as I thought it would be..." Bill chuckled as he floated around you. You were in a dream, it felt like you were stuck in a void. Stars and comets shimmered all around you. You were floating in space...
Though the words of Bill made you feel embarrassed, "Were you reading my mind? What do you mean by that!?" You were nervous. You had many secrets to hide in your memories. Bill maniacally laughed as he floated in front of your face, "You're funny, kid. But what I mean is... Look at these dreams and memories! They're so vivid! Your mind is like its own dimension!" Was Bill being sarcastic? Satire? It doesn't matter. As long as the infamous Dream Demon didn't want to kill me. Being on his better side is more important than those questions. Bill chuckled sincerely as he shone bright yellow, "Well, I could certainly say that you're better than Pinetree and Shooting Star."
You paused for a moment to piece together what Bill just said. Who's Pinetree? Who's Shooting Star? "Ah, I guess you don't know what I'm talking about," Bill sighed annoyedly. You sighed too and looked away from Bill, "Wait, isn't Pinetree... Well... Dipper? In other words?" Bill glared at you yet looked surprised afterward, "You're a smart human, aren't you? Well then guess who Shooting Star is..." You pause and take a deep breath. Dipper has a pine tree symbol on his hat, so he is Pinetree... You thought about it... Wait... The day I came into the shop, Mabel was wearing a pink sweater with a shooting star on it... And shooting stars signify good luck... "Ma-Mabel Pines?" You exclaimed with a questioning tone. "You're right, kid," Bill chuckled at you. You were glad you were right. "I see that you're perceiving. And you can connect the dots in your brain better than all the other puppets I had," Bill remarked, was it a compliment or a threat? "Puppets? Hold on- you have to explain to me what you mean by that... Who were your puppets before? Hm?" You questioned Bill. He was acting a bit weird. Bill questioningly glared at you and snickered, "Huh."
