On the way home, Mabel and Giffany talked about boys and dates. Dipper was doing his own thing, reflecting on today, and kicking pebbles under his feet. And Soos introduced his girlfriend from Portland, Melody...

You look up to see the Mystery Shack. The S in Shack was still lying on the roof instead of being with the other letters. So as always, it looks like it said the Mystery Hack. Melody turned to Soos and asked, "Is it okay if I stay over at your place?" Soos chuckled, "Not at all, dude." Melody chuckled and turned to you, "You work here at the Mystery Shack, right?" You turned to Melody and smiled, "I do. But I've been working here for only like two weeks now." You paused with a sense of something not being right, and then pulled your phone out of your pocket with your right hand, and checked the date and time. June 17, 7:34 P.M.

Everything seemed... Fairly fine. But something was tugging on you that something wasn't right...

You sigh at the strange thought in your mind. "What does that poem mean?" You whispered to yourself. You look back to make sure that you were sane, but you notice that Soos and Melody are gone, "Where's Soos and Melody?" Mabel exclaimed, "Weren't you listening!? Soos and Melody went back to Soos' place!" You let out an awkward whisper, "Sorry, I just got lost in thought..." Dipper sighed, looking at the ground, hands in his pockets, still kicking pebbles, "That happens to the best of us..." You chuckled in response to agree. And Dipper put a small abject smile on his face.

You suddenly felt a sharp pain in your left hand. Not that again. It was leaving a deep burning and tickling sensation that was felt deep in your cuts, spreading further and further inside your hand, leaving a strange mint-like feeling. It was cold, burning, and fresh. Please don't cry and humiliate yourself again... You grabbed your left hand by your right hand under your cloak and squeezed it. It relieved some pain but still was painful enough.

To make you cry once more.

Mabel and Dipper once again noticed your breakdown. Mabel looked concerned. And once Dipper heard your crying he looked up from the ground, "Oh no, not again..." Dipper pulled his hands from his pockets and ran to you, "Are you okay, Y/N!? What happened? Why do you keep crying?" And he put his arm around you. You just kept on weeping, not being able to stop. Your vision was starting to become blurry because of your tears. Mabel ran over to help, you were so weak that you barely could hold yourself up.

You reached the Mystery Shack. You stopped crying but were still sad. Giffany rolled her eyes and said, "I will go, inside." You sigh, "Go to the attic. Until then, we will be able to discuss your means of stay." Giffany nodded, opened the door, and walked inside.

You saw Grunkle Stan standing behind the cash register, "Took 'ya long enough. One of the customers spilled a milkshake on the floor recently." You sigh and say to Mabel and Dipper, "I guess I'll go do my job. You can go..." Mabel and Dipper sigh and walk away. You hold the mop in your right hand and start mopping the floor lazily. Stan looked up from his stash of cash that he was counting, "'Ya okay, kid? Why are you only using one hand? Use both, it's more effective." You stop mopping and raise your eyebrow at him, "I know." "Then why aren't 'ya doin' it?" Gunkle Stan asked. You shrugged and kept silent. Stan raised his eyebrows at you, rolled his eyes, and looked back at the cash to keep counting.
