You exclaim, "Sorry! It seems that I'm getting a call, tell you when I get back!" You show Mabel and her friends the screen. Luckily, before you left with Mabel, you set your wallpaper to a call so it looked like someone was calling. You run off before your friends can say anything about it.

You look back to see them occupied with reading their fiction instead of occupied with your reason for leaving. You bring up the phone to your ear, "Hello? Bill, what do you have to say?" "Nice cover-up with the phone! I just started this ringing in your ears because much like you, I CAN'T BARE TO LISTEN TO THEM!" "Agreed, thank you so much, Bill. You're a lifesaver..." "As much as Shooting Star can be fun, this... IS UNBEARABLE TO DEAL WITH!" You slide down the wall behind you, tapping your foot on the floor non-stop out of anxiety, "What do I do?" "This is a sleepover, kid! And as much as I hate to admit it, Question Mark is right. You can't be such a Time Baby!" "But what about-" "Listen, either you straight-up tell Shooting Star, and you save us both. Or, you (we) have to suffer this whole night!" "I fear that-" "Kid... You sigh, and you realize Dipper, Soos, and Bill are right. I can't be a pushover. You look to your side because you felt a threatening presence. It was Mabel, peeking from behind the wall. She noticed that you noticed her. You still pretended to be on a phone call. She walked away without saying a word, and then you heard, "NOW WHO'S READY FOR CHAPTER TWO!?"

You sigh, Mabel wasn't a threat to your undertaking anymore. You looked through your contacts. You saw your old friends and family... They gave you a saddening feeling of nostalgia. Should I delete their contacts? No... What if they're worried about me? No... What if they mess up my blank slate of a life? No... Should I keep their contacts just in case? No...

In the end, you decided to just put your old contacts away. You put them in a folder called, "Old Contacts." You decided to look at your current contacts. Wendy... Dipper? When the hell did I ask Dipper to put his contact in? With a bit of hesitancy, you looked at Dipper's contact and clicked on the call button.

It dialed for a couple of seconds. And then you finally hear, "Hello?"

"Hey Dipper, how did I get your contact?" "Oh, I... Don't be mad, but I took your phone and put my contact in..." That's what I get for keeping my phone unlocked. "So uhh... Why are you calling me? Is everything alright?" "No... I- look, I just need someone to cover for me. I pretended that I have gotten a phone call to get away from the sleepover party. But then I looked through my contacts and found you." "As a fellow introvert, I understand. Also, my sister can sometimes be a bit of a hassle." "Yeah..." "So, how's everything going so far?" "My face got covered in makeup and the eyeliner won't wash off because Candy accidentally used waterproof eyeliner. So if you see me coming home with eyeliner, it is me, but with eyeliner." You talked to Dipper for a while. There were bursts of laughter and your mood was in a better position. You suddenly hear Grenda yell, "Hey! Come and read Chapter 3 with us!" Dipper says, "Hey, and just please tell Mabel what you really feel..." You sigh, "Thank you for talking to me..." And you hang up with Dipper. You also say, "And thanks for talking to me too, Bill."
