Undying Devotion | Sebastian Sallow

Y/N's Perspective

Sebastian's face is so close to mine. His forehead pressed against mine while he holds my face in his hand.

My battle against the pensive guards is quickly forgotten in Sebastian's presence. Everything melts away with his touch.

This has to be it. I know he likes me. He admitted he has been looking for me, he kissed my cheek, he held me tenderly in the restricted section.

My heart starts to race, my breath becomes jagged from excitement. He places his hand on my shoulder to pull me in closer.

I tried to hold it in, I really did, but he put his hand over my wound. I let out a wince from the sudden pressure.

He quickly pulls back, looking at me horrified and full of guilt. "Merlin! Y/n I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!"

I laugh, "Sebastian it is fine. I'm ok. I think I have some Wiggleweld potion on me."

I look in my bag and pull out the potion. I quickly down it, throwing the empty bottle back into my bag. I look back at Sebastian to see a perplexed look on his face.

"Y/n I don't mean to sound harsh, but what the hell is happening? Why do you have a battle ready bag on you?" he asks panicking.

Sebastian tries to get up to pace, but I quickly grab both of his hands to get him to stay with me.

"Look I will tell you. I want to tell you, but I'm scared" I say looking away from him.

He takes his finger underneath my chin and lifts my head to meet his eyes. "Hey Y/n. Look at me. After everything we've been through together, I can handle it. It will not scare me away. You're not getting rid of me. I meant it when I said I would protect you forever" he whispers.

I started to melt at his words. This moment solidified my feelings. I am falling for Sebastian Sallow. His eyes give me sanctuary, his touch gives me warmth, his words provide a sense of relief, and his smile brings me unconditional joy.

I try to fight down my smile, "Ok. I will tell you, but you need to promise me something."

"Of course" he perks up. "Anything you need I'll do it."

"Calm down Sebastian" I chuckle. "I need you to let me explain everything before you cut in and do that panicky rant you do when you're confused."

"I don't do that!"

"Of course you don't. It's alright though. I think it's cute actually. Your nose scrunches up and your dimples start to show" I laugh.

My sleepiness must have taken over me because I didn't even realize I said it until Sebastian's eyes grew wide and a smile crept across his face.

I quickly start talking to avoid having to talk more about my embarrassing confession. The more I talk, the more I calm down.

I continue explaining everything to Sebastian with ease. I explain what happened with Gringotts, Ranrok, the Portkey, the restricted section, and that I possess the ability to see and maybe wield ancient magic.

I take a deep breath after my long explanation and look back up at Sebastian. He is staring at me with wide eyes and his jaw on the floor.
