Undying Devotion | Sebastian Sallow

Y/N's Perspective

It has been two days since my run in with Sebastian Sallow walking out of Professor Fig's office. I tried the hold the missing pages I found in Jackdaw's tomb hostage from Fig in hopes he would tell me why Sebastian was in his office, but to no avail. Once I gave him the the missing pages to complete to the book, he shooed me away so he could decipher it.

I tried to to get a little information from Sebastian, but he would just give me his usual cocky but gorgeous smirk. All he would say is "I will find out soon enough."

Then when I tried to go to Ominis he would get nervous and stumble on his words. I have seen him and Sebastian whispering and sneaking around the Grand Staircase, so I know they are up to something.

Ominis came into the common room and sat next to me yesterday with flour on his shirt. He definitely was up to something with Sebastian, but no one would say anything to me.

I decided to give up the quest of finding out what Sebastian was up to. For all I know it had nothing to do with me or it was something he did not feel comfortable sharing with me.

After charms class finishes I stand outside the classroom with Natty.

"So you will be at the Slytherin Halloween party this Friday right? Sebastian and Ominis are sneaking me a few of our other friends in."

Slytherin party? This is the first I am hearing about this. Maybe this is what he was being all secretive about. Maybe he did not want me at the party.

"Halloween is on Sunday. Why would the party be on a Friday?" I ask confused at the logic.

Natty laughs at my quizzical expression. "I am assuming it is so everyone can recover from their hangovers on Saturday and be able to do homework on Sunday before classes."

"People will be drinking? Won't the prefects report that?"

"Oh Y/n" Natty chuckles. "The prefects are the ones who bring the drinks. The Slytherin prefects never follow the rules. We should go to Gladraggs tomorrow and get costumes!"

"Natty I don't know if I am even wanted there. Neither Ominis nor Sebastian has told me about it."

"Sebastian has had other things on his mind and Ominis has been helping him out. I know they both want you there." Natty pauses as her eyes look behind me. A smirk tugs at the corner of her lips. "Why don't you ask him yourself?"

I feel a strong muscular arm snake its way across my shoulder before I am pulled into a firm and warm body. I know this feeling all to well, I do not need to turn my head to know that Sebastian is now standing beside me.

"Sorry to keep you waiting darling" Sebastian grins. "I needed to go over something with Ominis. I am all yours now. Since it is raining today, I thought I could read to you at the Astronomy Tower rather than our usual spot."

I look over at Sebastian and wrap my arm around his waist. I give him a gentle nod and smile. I am surprised that he remembers because his mind seems to be elsewhere this week.

"Sebastian will you please tell Y/n that she is absolutely invited to her own House's Halloween party?"

Sebastian slaps his hand to his forehead and lets out a frustrated groan. "Shit! Y/n I promise I meant to tell you, but my mind has been all over the place. Of course you are invited! I would not go if you didn't go!"
