"Oh? For what?"

"I don't know. I get hit with a lawsuit almost every day." He rolled his eyes. "This shit kind of gets annoying."

"Well then, stop doing things to get you sued."

"It's the company, not me." He shrugged. "I don't care, my lawyer will handle it."

He closed his laptop before stretching.

"Im gonna lay down for the rest of the way." He stood up.

"Lay down? On the floor?" I raised my eyebrow.

"No." He shook his head before walking towards the back of the jet.

Luca pushed the door open and blue light rushed from out of the room. I stood up in amazement and slowly walked towards it.

The room consisted of a circle bed which seemed rather comfy. The wall was lined with blue led lights and the walls were a deep black.

"This is amazing." I looked around in awe.

"Yeah, I spend a lot of time in here."

"Gross."

"Not in that way. I travel a lot, this is like my second home." He pushed the door closed before plopping down on the bed.

"Mind if I join?"

"Plenty of room."

I carefully lay in the bed.

"I don't get you, Luca." I shook my head.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know, you're just hard to read." I shook my head. "Like sometimes I can look at a person and see what's going on in their mind, with you it's like..."

"Inscrutable?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

"I get told that a lot. I'm starting to think it's an actual problem." He let out a soft chuckle.

"I don't know, maybe. You're a nice guy actually, but I wouldn't have known that until I started getting to know you."

"You thought I was rude?"

"Yeah, you tried to tip me when we first...you know."

"Had sex? Sex isn't a bad word Luna, but sorry."

"Whatever. I don't know, I just can never tell where your head is at." I shook my head. "Why is that?"

"I learned at a young age." He shrugged.

"To censor your emotions?"

"To turn them off."

"Why?"

"Why are you pushing? What are you looking for, Luna?" He questioned while turning towards me. I shrugged.

"I like to understand people." I shrugged. "But we can change the subject if you would like."

He took a deep sigh before turning on his back.

"I don't show emotion because I don't form attachments. Life is something that prohibits me from doing so."

"How so?"

"Because, all life does is take. It takes what it wants without thinking about who it's affecting."

"So you've decided to live an empty life?"

"My life isn't empty, I have everything." He shrugged. "What's better than that?"

"Love."

"That was a cheesy answer."

"I'm serious," I said. "I live in a crummy apartment with my sister who hates my guts and Pierce who screams all night. It's the most annoying thing but without them...I don't know. I would feel empty."

"Because you find joy in other people. I don't."

"You find it within yourself? You find love within yourself?"

"I love myself."

"Yeah, but when your sick and need someone to take care of you, wouldn't it be nice to have someone?"

"No. Life isn't about meeting someone and spending the rest of your life with them. It's about your goals and what you want to do."

"True, but just because we come in the world alone does mean we have to live that way."

"I didn't come into the world alone." He mumbled.

"I'm sorry, I didn't-"

"Don't apologize, no need."

He turned back towards me.

"I'm not a hurt bird." He sighed.

I turned towards him.

"I know. I'm just saying."

Luca stared at me with those electric eyes.

"What?" I questioned.

He pulled me in close. Our fave being inches apart. I slightly caressed his jaw. My Lord, what was this man doing to me? My heart began to beat extremely fast.

Then, Luca kissed me.

"Was that a way to shut me up?" I chuckled.

"Did it work?"

"For now."
