You looked concernedly down at your feet. An apocalypse?.. Oh. Right... I remember it being mentioned before by Ford...
You and the group went silently through the forest. It was dark, mysterious, magical, and moody. The air smelled like freshly cut grass and pinecones. The air felt pretty dry, yet nice. You took a deep breath of the fresh night air.
And Bill kept laughing about something.
You reach the Mystery Shack. You see Stan talking angrily to a customer, and Soos restocking the products. Wendy, Dipper, and Mabel decide to go upstairs to play some board games together. Maybe I'll join later in the board games...
Stan kept arguing with a customer and you decide to come up to resolve the problem. "This guy is claiming that he bought something and wants to return it. But the sign clearly said no refunds!" Grunkle Stan pointed at the sign next to the cash register with the words, "NO REFUNDS!" In bold letters. You sigh disappointedly and look at the customer, "And what's your side of the story?" The customer scoffs, "Well, I DIDN'T SEE THE SIGN!" You try to calm down at the situation, "Mr. Pines... Was the sign up there before?" Stan mumbled, "It was there since the beginning of the Mystery Shack's opening!" You look at the customer, "I'm sorry. But from what I see from this situation is that you clearly can't return this product." The customer scoffs once again and walks away angrily. Stan sighs and looks down at you, "Thanks for saving me from this nightmare. I don't often have to deal with these kinds of people. I've been arguing with them for the past hour!" You chuckle lightly, "I wonder why they listened to me." Stan rolls his eyes, "Maybe because you're a kid." You smile, "Well, I'm glad I could help you." Stan smiled back, "I'm happy that I hired you. First, you made me breakfast. You do more work than others. You gave me money. And, you keep the customers in check." You smiled humbly, "It's nothing! I do actually like my job." "I'm glad you like it... I might share some tricks and secrets with ya' some other times... Now, would you mind helping Soos stock products?" Stan said happily. You nod and run over to Soos.
Soos was stacking some kind of candy up on the shelves. And you were stocking some shirts with animals printed on them. You glanced at Soos a couple of times at how he was stocking the candy. Then, you saw him holding up two types of candy and analyzing them. You came over to Soos and asked, "What's the problem?" Soos looked down at you seriously and said, "There is this lollypop and thing of gummy bears... But there is nothing else that matches them, girl dude." You sigh, "May I look at them?" Soos gives you the products and you look at them. You decide to walk over to all the sections that might fit them. But nothing matched, as Soos said. You walk back to Soos and explain, "You're right, nothing matches these products... You go on stacking the other products whilst I'll ask Grunkle Stan what to do about these."
"Grunkle Stan, what do I do about these?" You hold up the candies. Stan takes a quick look and says, "What's the matter with them?" You answer, "Soos and I tried to find a section these guys would fit but nothing matched them..." Stan coughs, "I bet they would work well if you just set them on empty spots and just lie to the customers that they're the only ones in stock." You sighed and then chuckled, "Sounds like a solid plan to me!"
You walk back to Soos and explain what to do. Soos gave a thumbs up and you were finished helping Soos stock stuff.
You went upstairs to see Ford, Wendy, Dipper, and Mabel playing Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons. You absolutely loved that game. "Hey, guys! Can I join!?" You asked happily. "We already started a while ago... So it would be a little late to join..." Ford apologized. You smiled, "It's okay. Mind if I just watch then?" You sat beside Ford and watched the game. You gave pointers to Mabel who was sitting beside you. And eventually after a long game of Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons everyone had a great time.
Wendy walked home and you, Dipper, and Mabel decided to go to bed. Ford decided to stay up reading a book on physics for no apparent reason.
You lazily lay down on your bed. The weird fish smell finally disappeared. But it still had a smokey tint to it. You fell asleep but before that...
"Wait... Isn't it Father's Day tomorrow?"
P.S. Sorry for a bit of a late update. My mom took away my computer because she caught me reading Lore Olympus at 2 in the morning. And so her being a parent, she took away all my devices. But she forgot about one and I had to rely all night on a Russian piece of junk phone that you can't do anything but listen to FM radio (good thing I do actually like listening to the radio). And I did in fact get some inspiration from the random music for my fanfiction.
Sorry for the trouble. This chapter is shorter than usual but the next one will be longer. Keep having fun reading my fanfiction. If you have any questions, just post them in the comments and I will answer them. Thanks, my Daydreamers, keep having fun. <3
