Asahi ran as fast as he could. He isn't sure what he's running from. Or what is currently chasing him. But ke keeps on running. Asahi looked back once a while. He couldn't see clearly what was chasing him. But he's scared. He wants to keep running. He doesn't want to get caught. Even though he didn't see what he's running from, the fearsome he'e currently feeling is just too overwhelming. Asahi looked around while keep running. Trying to find somewhere he can hide at. But he couldn't find any. Asahi knows that he's tired but he needs to keep on running.
Suddenly he can smell a very familiar scent. While he's still running, he tries to find where the scent is probably coming from. Before he knew it, Asahi slowed down. The thing that has been chasing him before seems like it has stopped. Slowly, Asahi stopped running as well. The fear he's feeling earlier disappeared as well. Asahi still can smell the calming scent. But he couldn't find the source of the scent.
"Hamada Asahi," he turned to that voice calling out his full name. His eyes widened seeing Jaehyuk standing a few steps behind him. Yes. He's very sure that the calming scent came from Jaehyuk. He remembered that he first smelled that scent the first time he met Jaehyuk at the hotel. When he pretended to be Mashiho. Is it his pheromones? But for some reason, just seeing that face, seeing that Alpha standing there, makes him calm down. His legs started to move forward, approaching Jaehyuk. And without even knowing why, he started to run into Jaehyuk's arms.
"Don't leave me ever again," Asahi said while still hugging Jaehyuk. Jaehyuk hugged him back. Gently patted his back while releasing a calming scent for Asahi to inhale. Asahi hugged him even tighter. It's as if Jaehyuk will disappear the moment he lets him go.
"I won't. If you let me stay by your side," Jaehyuk said.
"Who the hell are you thinking you are?" Asahi suddenly wakes up from his sleep. Wait! It was a dream? Asahi quickly raised his head. Jaehyuk is there with the loan sharks who came yesterday.
"I am his Alpha," Jaehyuk said. Asahi's eyes widened hearing Jaehyuk's words. He turned to his grandmother who had already woken up. His grandmother just smiled at him. "And, just for your information, your organization is soon going to be under Hirai Group. If I ever heard that you show yourself in front of them, you'll never want to know what will happen to you,"
"H-Hirai," the Alpha guy looked like he was scared of hearing that name. Asahi knows that name. Hirai. A very famous group who conquered almost 60% of the construction industry in Tokyo and Osaka only. There are rumors that the group is ruled by a gang that's feared by many. But that's just a rumor anyway. Asahi is quite surprised that Jaehyuk knows that group considering he's not a local.
"So? Kindly leave," Jaehyuk said. After Jaehyuk said that, the loan sharks left. Jaehyuk then turned toward Asahi. He looked surprised seeing Asahi already awake. Asahi couldn't look into Jaehyuk's eyes. He suddenly remembered that he just hugged Jaehyuk in his dream. He even asked Jaehyuk not to leave him. "Oh. Good morning,"
"What are you doing here?" Asahi asked while trying not to meet his gaze.
"Why are you talking like that? He came here away from South Korea and even paid the debt for you," Asahi's grandmother said. Asahi's eyes widened hearing that from his grandmother.
"What did you say?!" Asahi asked. Is this another way to make him marry Jaehyuk? Why is this guy being like this? Then, what about the money he loaned from the company? Or the money he borrowed from Mashiho?
"Hi-kun," Asahi's grandmother tried to calm him down.
"But, obasan. I-"
"Hi-kun?" The three of them turned toward the door. Mrs Honda, one of Asahi's grandmother's neighbors, is at the door. "Hi-kun. You can go home now. I'll take care of your obasan,"
