"Thank you for coming to our new project launching party. I really appreciate it," Jaehyuk greeted everyone who came to the party. The launching event went smoothly without any problem.

"Congratulations for another successful project. Your luck has been doubled ever since you got married," Mr Yang, one of the investors, said. "Ah! I didn't see your partner around today since the launching event,"

"He decided not to join today's event," Jaehyuk said calmly.

"What a shame. I feel like he's a really strong supporter for you. You guys are really a good match. I wish you two a happy life," Mr Yang said. "It will be great if he can attend my daughter's wedding with you next year,"

"I'll try to make some time for it," Jaehyuk said.

"Thank you very much," Mr Yang said.

"I'll excuse myself," Jaehyuk said. After Jaehyuk walked away from Mr Yang, Yedam quickly walked toward Jaehyuk. "Who else I haven't greeted?"

"You've greeted almost everyone. Next will be Mr Joshua there. He's one of our loyal investor and for this project he acted as promoter as well," Yedam said as he checked the list on his tablet.

"Red Pine Legacy, isn't it?" Jaehyuk asked.

"Yes,"

"Alright. I'll greet him," Jaehyuk said.

"You should take a rest first if you're tired. You haven't stopped since the morning," Yedam said.

"I'm fine. I don't really need a rest now. I need to occupy myself and push the hardest I can. We worked hard for this project and I don't want it to go to waste," Jaehyuk said. "If you're tired, you can rest first. I'll take that tablet with me,"

"No. I'll accompany you," Yedam said. "I'm your secretary, remember?"

"Thanks, Secretary Bang," Jaehyuk said. He continued to greet every guest that attended the after party.

"After resigning, it seems like your husband is more comfortable not to attend an event like this huh? He is really living his best life I see. Not going to work but still having all the luxury. I envy him," Jaehyuk heard one of the board members, who is also one of his uncles, said. Yedam, who stood next to him, was about to say something. Jaehyuk took a deep breath before he turned to his uncle.

"My husband is a human. Who has a right to choose what he wants or what he doesn't want to. I can't force him to come to an event knowing that there's people like you who're very ready to talk shit about him right in front of his face and hurt his feelings. If he made his decision, I'll try to respect it. And I hope that you, who are also legally my family, respect it as well," Jaehyuk said. "And by the way. Try not to force the organizer to put your name in the guest list when you're not even getting invited. I really appreciate it if you can keep that in mind,"

"Did something happen between Asahi and Jaehyuk?" Hyunsuk suddenly whispered to Yedam after Jaehyuk left to greet more guests.

"Well. I'm not sure if I should tell you anything about them," Yedam said.

"Really?" Hyunsuk asked. "He looked miserable,"

"He did? I was actually surprised that he looked all fine even after Asahi left him-" Yedam just realized what he just said. "P-pretend that you didn't hear that,"

"I can't pretend. He left? When? Why?" Hyunsuk asked.

"I don't know. It's like a little more than a week ago, he came to the office with a straight face. He said that he couldn't even propose because Asahi left him," Yedam said. "But after that, he looked just fine. His works are still as efficient as always. This project, he handled it very well. That's why I wonder if Asahi really left him or something. Of if he really likes Asahi as much as he said he did. Because from what I see, he looked just fine. With or without Asahi,"
