After getting the makeup and hair done, Asahi sits in the waiting lounge while Jaehyuk is still on the phone. Still working even this time. The project that Jaehyuk has been handling is going to be launched tonight through a launching event. They are now getting ready for the event. Even though they already made their appointment, Jaehyuk still hasn't got anything done on him yet because he has been answering calls related to the event and other work related stuff. Jaehyuk sits on the couch in the waiting lounge while sighing.

Finally he was done with the last phone call. He’s not going to pick up any call or answer any text or mails until the event finishes tonight. Jaehyuk massaged his temple while closing his eyes. Asahi just looked at his husband. Sometimes, he feels bad for Jaehyuk working almost all of the time. For some people who looked at Jaehyuk, they probably just view him as a rich Alpha from a chaebol family and he doesn’t really need to do much to enjoy the luxuries he has now. But it’s not that case. For the whole 2 months staying by Jaehyuk's side, as his husband, he knows how hard Jaehyuk has been working himself off.

Even though Jaehyuk is from a chaebol family, he didn’t just let himself enjoy all the luxurious things around him for free. Jaehyuk himself worked hard for the position he’s at now. The assets he had under his name are not from his family. It was all his own money after he joined the company.

Jaehyuk knows that he’s not the favorite grandson from the very start. Even though he's an Alpha, he is always being compared to Jeonghwan, his older cousin who’s an Omega. Jaehyuk acknowledged it though. Jeonghan has been a very smart and talented guy ever since a very young age. Unlike Jaehyuk who has been pushing himself to be the best in everything, Jeonghan is like he’s born with it.

Jaehyuk did envy him a lot when he’s younger. But growing up, he realized that Jeonghan himself is suffering. Him being an Omega, even though it’s not even a choice, has been severely criticized by his own family. Jeonghan then decided to just follow what he had wanted. He talked to his parents and they understood him. They know how much pressure that the family has been forcing on Jeonghan ever since he’s just a kid.

For Jaehyuk, this is a different story. After their grandfather couldn’t force his liking and choices to Jeonghan anymore, his next pick was Jaehyuk. But Jaehyuk was never the first choice. Even if it’s not him, his grandfather still can choose his other cousins who are Alphas. But it was when Jaehyuk managed to get into the company just by his academics and no cables at all, his grandfather started to put pressure on Jaehyuk.

Jaehyuk was never formally introduced to the public as one of his grandsons. Jaehyuk’s parents are married without the blessing from the family. That’s why Jaehyuk is getting this kind of treatment. Even so, he’s still one of his grandfather’s grandsons. After his grandfather started to pay attention to him, his parents started to be more pushy as well. Jaehyuk tried. He tried his best to satisfy everyone. But it's easier said than done.

He has been working hard to prove that he has a worth as one of their family’s bloodline. He tried so hard to make his family proud and happy. He followed every single thing his parents and grandfather asked him to. He has never complained, yet. Breaking up with Hyunsuk and secretly registering his marriage with Asahi are probably the only things he did that got the objection from his family. But this is his life. He decided to make a choice for him, for his own life.

“Tired?” Asahi asked after he watched the Alpha keep sighing. Jaehyuk opened his eyes and turned to Asahi. His expression changed as he looked at Asahi. “Why?”

“Who are you?” Jaehyuk asked.

“Me? Yoon Asahi,” Asahi answered.

“No. I mean. You looked gorgeous,” Jaehyuk said while staring at Asahi. He’s looking at his Omega from the end of his styled hair to his makeup. Jaehyuk put out his hands to touch Asahi’s face but hesitating. It’s as if he’s afraid that he'll ruin the masterpiece in front of him. “Has my Omega been this ethereal? You look so beautiful. I'm not lying. You probably will steal the show tonight,”
