Asahi has been really quiet since they left the company. He just quietly waited for Jaehyuk as what the Alpha told him earlier. If anyone saw him right now, they probably just think that he's just like normal days. But for Jaehyuk who has been living with the Omega for months after they registered their marriage, he noticed even a little change. Asahi is always a quiet guy most of the time. But his body language screams his emotions and his current mood. For now, Asahi is tense. Asahi is like restricting his own movement. It's most probably because Omega is worried about his grandmother.

Jaehyuk already managed to buy the earliest ticket to Asahi's hometown. He already applied for emergency leave along with Asahi and asked Yedam to cover for him and update him on everything about work. Jaehyuk drove Asahi back home to pack some clothes they needed to bring to Japan. It has been a few hours but Jaehyuk hasn't heard a word coming from Asahi's mouth after their last phone call. Every question or word Jaehyuk told to him will just be responded with a nod.

Now, they are already on the plane. Asahi is still very quiet. He looked out, blankly. Jaehyuk grabbed Asahi's hand and intertwined their fingers together. Asahi still didn't even move. Still staring out of the window without even a single flinch. Jaehyuk was about to pull his hand but Asahi gripped his hand a little. Not letting the Alpha pull his hand. Jaehyuk just let it be. But still. Asahi didn't say anything even after they touched down.

"Jaehyuk-ah," after a few hours, finally Asahi talked. He called his Alpha. Jaehyuk was really glad that Asahi finally talked after hours. He wanted to hear his voice too but because everything he said only responded with a nod, Jaehyuk just knew that Omega was not in the mood to talk. Jaehyuk turned to Asahi, waiting for the Omega to speak his mind. "Let's register our marriage here first before we go to the hospital,"

"Oh? Why?" Jaehyuk asked.

"I don't know. I just- I feel like obasan will be very glad if we told her that we are legally married here. Like. I don't know. I wanted to make obasan happy for the last time. I couldn't even spend more time with obasan. I keep on telling her that I won't get married because it's useless and fate is just a fairytale. She has been wanting to see me at my own wedding reception. But I couldn't give her what she wished for. Instead, she has been suffering will all of the mental and physical torture from the loan sharks and her health getting even worse. And I couldn't do anything about it. I-" Asahi stopped his non stop ranting when Jaehyuk suddenly pulled him into a hug.

Asahi calmed down. Those words that are stuffed in his mind just vanished without him letting it out. Asahi is getting a little less tense than before. There are a lot of things that Asahi was thinking for the past few hours and he couldn't sort his thoughts. He didn't know what he actually had to do first. Jaehyuk caressed Asahi's head. Trying to calm his Omega. After a few minutes, Jaehyuk broke the hug and he looked at Asahi.

"Did you get any update about obasan from Mrs Honda?" Jaehyuk asked. Actually he didn't really know the details. He just assumed that someone brought Asahi's grandmother to the hospital because he's unconscious. Jaehyuk didn't know any other things other than Mrs Honda being the one who updated the situation to Asahi. Asahi didn't share anything yet because he didn't even say anything for the past few hours.

"Mrs Honda said that obasan is already stable but she's still unconscious. She needs the ventilator to make sure her body gets enough oxygen," Asahi said. "She was fine when we called her yesterday, right? She even plays jokes. She doesn't even look sick,"

"This might be why you keep thinking about obasan. That you've been spacing out yesterday," Jaehyuk said. "There's probably a sign. So you can prepare yourself for it. I don't mean anything negative but I just want you to know that everything happens for a reason. And if it's already written by fate, no matter how hard we try to avoid it, it will definitely happen. So, we need to move forward and keep going. I know that you're a strong guy, Asahi. And I'm pretty sure obasan wanted to see your smile. Not being tense like this. Okay?"
