Jaehyuk always said that he likes Asahi’s smell. He always asked for cuddles and kisses. Those are all in the contract and Asahi didn’t really dislike it either. Jaehyuk always treated him as gently as he possibly could. Jaehyuk treated him as if he’s the most precious thing he ever had. But did Jaehyuk love him? Asahi didn’t know. He didn’t have the answer.

“I don’t know myself,” Asahi said.

“Then? Why are you guys married to each other?” Haruto asked.

“It just happened that way. Fate, maybe?” Asahi said.

“You don't believe in fate. You said those are just fairy tales. I've known you since we’re just kids, hyung,” Haruto said.

“Well. Maybe I’ve changed,” Asahi replied.

“Ruto?” someone called Haruto’s name. Both of them turned to the owner of the voice. The owner of the voice took off his glasses, revealing his face. It’s Choi Hyunsuk.

“Oh! Hyung! What are you doing here?” Haruto asked. He pulled the chair beside him. “Come sit,”

“May I?” Hyunsuk asked. He looked at Asahi’s face. If the other guy looked uncomfortable, Hyunsuk was planning to just walk away telling them that he had an urgent thing to do. Asahi turned to Hyunsuk and nodded. Hyunsuk smiled as he noticed that the guy who is with Haruto is an Omega. 

Hyunsuk is a dominant Omega. He can tell what other Omega is thinking just by smelling their pheromones. In Asahi’s case, he didn’t show much expression on his face. His pheromones are not so strong too but just enough for him to detect his emotions. Pheromones blocker, maybe? He’s quite familiar with the sensation of the pheromones blocker that Asahi is currently using. But there’s something more that makes Hyunsuk interested to know Asahi more. The subtle Alpha pheromones on him.

“Thank you,” Hyunsuk said. He took out his hand at Asahi, asking for a handshake. “I’m Choi Hyunsuk,”

“Hamada Asahi,” Asahi took his hand, introducing his name. Hyunsuk smiled and nodded. He knew that he recognized this scent. He probably knows the Alpha who’s scenting this Omega over here. But he’s not so sure yet. 

“He’s my childhood friend, hyung. The one that I’ve told you about. I came here because I want to follow him here and use being a trainee as an excuse. He joined a transfer student program and because I’m feeling so lonely, I joined an audition and here I am,” Haruto said.

“Oh. You’re the reason for Haruto’s celebrity journey. Thank you, Hamada Asahi-kun,” Hyunsuk said.

“It’s nothing,” Asahi said. Suddenly , his phone rang. Asahi took out his phone. Seeing the caller ID on the screen, make him pause for a bit before he excuses himself to answer the call. Asahi walked out from the cafe and answered the call. It’s Jaehyuk who’s calling him.  “Hello?”

“Sahi-ya. Are you still with Ruto?” Jaehyuk asked.

“Yeah. I’m still with Haruto,” Asahi said. 

“Can you wait for me there? I just arrived at the mall. I just entered the mall,” Jaehyuk said.

“Alright,” Asahi said. “But, Jaehyuk-ah,”

“Yes?” 

“Choi Hyunsuk-nim is here as well,” Asahi said after hesitating for a while. “He’s talking to Haruto now,”

“Hyunsuk hyung? What is he doing there- Ah! It’s because of the event tonight. He always goes shopping before attending any events. It’s good. I’ve been wanting to see him as well,” Jaehyuk said. Pang! For no reason, Asahi felt like something was slapping his heart, hard. “I’ll be there in about 2 minutes? Can you wait for me?”
