Jaehyuk decided to choose Asahi's favorite restaurant for them to have their dinner. Asahi didn't particularly tell him that it is his favorite restaurant but after months of living together, eating out together many times, Jaehyuk can tell that Asahi prefered this one restaurant a little bit more than the others. Jaehyuk has always been watching Asahi's expression closely since they legally registered their marriage. Asahi is not someone who easily expresses his emotions and Jaehyuk knew that. Still, it makes Jaehyuk frustrated because he can't really guess what Asahi is thinking most of the time.

But Jaehyuk is quite impressed with himself for willingly patiently observing Asahi's acts because it took him months to fully understand Asahi. Maybe because of that, he managed to acknowledge his feelings toward Asahi. That he cares about Asahi more than just because of his responsibility. Or because they have a contract relationship. It's beyond that. He genuinely cares about Asahi. He didn't realize when it started. But he started to acknowledge it after months.

Maybe he already fell for Asahi the first time they met. Who knows? Maybe the way Asahi tried so hard to make him dislike the Takata Mashiho attracted him to the Omega. And those pheromones. He remembered that Asahi went into heat on the first day they met and they even spent their night together. He has been wondering about it for quite a long time. Jaehyuk is quite immuned to Omega's pheromones even when they are in heat. Being in the family he is in, they already had him taking some kind of medicine that can increase his immunisation against Omega's heat. It's a rich people thing as one of the defense mechanisms.

But that day, he's affected by Asahi's pheromones. Not only that day. The days after that as well. That's also the point he took to consider his feelings toward Asahi. Maybe they're fated mates? When they're about to reach the station that is close to the restaurant in Jaehyuk's mind, Jaehyuk gently shakes Asahi's body. Slowly trying to wake him up.

"Hm," Asahi stretched without opening his eyes. His head is still on Jaehyuk's shoulder.

"We are almost here, Sahi-ya" Jaehyuk whispered. Asahi raised his head and looked around. He looked at Jaehyuk's shoulder where he used to lean on earlier and up to the Alpha's face. "We're going to the place that sells grilled mackerel. I'll press the bell, okay? Are you still sleepy? Should we go straight home?"

"Aren't you hungry?" Asahi asked.

"I can just cook something simple when we reach home," Jaehyuk said, trying to convince the Omega.

"No. I'm wide awake now," Asahi said before he yawned. "Just press the bell,"

"Okay," Jaehyuk pressed the bell as no one pressed it to notify the bus driver to stop at the next bus stop. They get off the bus after the bus arrives at the bus stop. Jaehyuk glanced at Asahi who's walking beside him. The Omega is currently pursing his lips as he looks around. Jaehyuk just wants to make sure that Asahi is not too tired or feeling unwell. Asahi turned to Jaehyuk when he noticed that his husband had been glancing at him once a while.

"Why?"

"No. I just want to make sure that you're alright," Jaehyuk said. He looked to their front. "We're here,"

The two of them walked inside. Asahi ordered the usual meal that he ordered every time they went to that restaurant while Jaehyuk ordered beef stew with rice set. Jaehyuk noticed that Asahi didn't really eat much after their orders arrived.

"You don't like your food?" Jaehyuk asked. Asahi looked at Jaehyuk. "Is it not good?"

"It's good. Just like usual," Asahi said. He looked at the food in front of Jaehyuk.

"Want to try mine?" Jaehyuk asked. Asahi's face lightened up a bit when Jaehyuk offered that. Asahi nodded. Jaehyuk pushed the bowl closer to Asahi. Asahi took a spoonful of the stew and tried it. "Do you like it?"
