"Do you want to show me the hives?" Iris offered, feeling bad for the guy.
"Of course, follow me!"
Iris begrudgingly followed, hating the bees that swarmed her face.

"How do you lose him in a bathroom that has no windows?" Wednesday scolded Thing, how had just come back from his excursion to the train station. Thing shrugged, or more like hit his thumb against the table, "A lefty wouldn't have failed me."
"Wednesday!" Iris scolded, "That is a very mean thing to say."
Thing sunk down into the table, "Don't sulk." Wednesday warned, "Now I'm going to have to find new evidence myself, since you're the one who lowt our only lead."
"I see you two finally made a friend." Bianca said, and Iris turned, seeing that from Bianca's point of view that it looked like the two were talking to a plant, "Even if it is a plant."
"We go for quaity over quantity." Wednesday sassed back, and she went to her seat beside Xavier, and Iris went to hers beside Ella.
"Hey, girl! How was beekeeping?" Ella asked as she sat down.
"Horrible! But at least Eugene's nice, I guess." Iris replied, watching as Xavier did some weird thing with the drawing in his book.
"I doubt Wednesday is impressed with your tricks, Mr. Thorpe." Ms. Thornhill said from the front of the class.
"Admit it, you're a little impressed." Xavier said to her sister, and Iris watched proudly as her sister slammed her hand down on the spider, the drawing going up in a puff of dust.
The class laughed, and Xavier closed his notebook. "Wednesday, Iris, we are glad to have you both join us on our journey through the world of csrnivorous plants." Ms. Thornhill said, walking in front of her desk, "Now, who can tell us the name of this beauty?" She nodded to Bianca eho had her hand up.
"Dendrophylax lindenii." Wednesday said before Bianca to could reply.
"Othrwise known as the ghost orchid." Bianca continued.
"Oh, good lord..." Iris grumbled, knowing that Wednesday's competitiveness was going to get out of had. Ella chuckled and watched the scene unfold in front of her.
"First discovered on the Isle of White in 1854."
"Very good, Wednesday." Ms. Thornhill praised, impressed with the new girl, "Looks like you may have competition for first chair, Bianca."
Bianca practically glowered at the teacher, and the class began to whisper.
"Wednesday, perhaps you can identify the ghost orchid's greatest qualities." Ms. Thornhill said.
"Resilience and adaptability. It's able to thrive in even the most hostile environments."
"But, its mere presence csn change the ecosystem, causing the established plants to reject it." Bianca finished for her, ever the teacher's pet.
"Usually because the native species is allowed to thrive unchecked. Nothing a Weedwacker couldn't fix."
"Lord, kill me now." Iris muttered, sinking into the desk.
"You can most certainly try." Bianca said, replying to Wednesday's comment.
"Are we still talking about flowers?" Xavier asked, confused.
"Thank you, ladies, for those illuminating insights. Clearly the plants aren't the only carnivores in class today." Ms. Thornhill joked, gaining a few chuckles.
After class, Iris was gathering her stuff, about to leave, when Enid came up to her.
"Hey, Iris, are you okay?" She asked, anxiously, "You just seem off lately."
"Well, my sister and I were attacked, and no one believes us, Enid, so..." Iris replied, holding the books in front of her, pressed against her chest.
"Well, yeah, obviously that, but if there's anything else, then you knoa you can talk to me, unless you don't want to, that's fine too-"
"Enid, I know." Iris laughed lightly, placing a hand on Enid's arm. The blonde's stomach erupted into butterflies at the simple touch, "Thanks for the talk, but I gotta go."
Iris left the empty room, leaving behind a dazed Enid and Ella.
"Dude, you need to get a hold on your rambling problem." Ella told her.
"Shut up!"
