It's my day-off! A day off to work. A single day of relaxation. Wala akong sched today
Medyo pagod pa ako ngayon kasi nagpuyat din ako kagabi. Tinapos ko yung mga papeles na kailangan kong tapusin.
Gusto kong sanang magexplore ngayon kaso isang araw lang yung off ko. And I have something I need to read later on. The files Waive gave me.
"Ano ba kasing nangyari kahapon at nung tumawag ako ay namumula ka? I'm curious here Blair! Tell me what happened! Ayoko ng maging manghuhula!" Nabaling ang atensyon ko sa taong nagsasalita sa laptop ko.
I look at her with the same expression that tells her that I won't say anything, kagabi pa ako kinukulit ni Dia about dun sa kung bakit ako namumula.
Umakto syang parang nagiisip. "Did something happen between you and your... driver?" Lumaki ang mata nya na parang may na realize sya bago sinabing.
"Don't tell me you two kissed or fu– Of course not!" Agad kong putol sa sasabihin.
Seriously this girl! Bakit yon agad ang pumapasok sa isip nya??!!
"Seriously why did you think that? Sometimes I wonder kung anong tumatakbo dyan sa utak mo at puro kalokohan nalang ang lumalabas sa bibig mo." I massage my temple. "We are not in that kind of relationship. Stop with your mindless guesses."
"Eh kasi naman girl ayaw mong sabihin sakin yung nangyari kaya wala akong choice kung hindi mag take guess, nagiging manghuhula na ko. Ano ba kasing nangyari? Tell me!"
"Walang nangyari okay?! Wala!"
"Bat parang galit ka or rather your defending something." She smile at me as if she knows something is going on.
"Wala... nothing happened." I firmly said.
"I don't believe youuu." She said while eyeing me while acting that she really doesn't believe me.
Wala naman talaga! Nagising lang si Kian yun na yon! Yun lang yung nangyari then umuwi na kami.
Wala talagang nangyari after non. On the way home was silent the whole ride. No one spoke nor broke it.
Buti nalang talaga gabi na non kung hindi nakita nya kong namumula.
What's even more surprising is that Kian didn't start any conversation that he usually do, not that I mind. I might stutter while talking to him.
He didn't also ask any questions about that event, which is good for me. No one talk.
Ahhh! I don't want to remember what happened yesterday but this girl here won't let me forget about it!
"See that! That's the face that something did happened!" See! She's persistent!
Why did this person became my best friend? Honestly I too don't know exactly.
"Wala Dia, stop being so persistent." Inalis ko sakanya ang tingin ko.
"Anyway nasabi na ba sainyo ni Waive about dun sa anniversary ng amusement park ni Lolo?" I ask hoping to change the subject.
"Yeah nagtext sya sa gc natin kanina and we're all going." Will she let go of the topic? I hope so.
"And don't change the subject here!" Or not, I sigh. "Hindi mo pa nga sinasabi sa akin kung anong pangalan nya and about the 'tea' nung basang basa ka sa ulan."
"Nothing happened that's it."
"Sige nga kung wala talagang nangyari bakit kayo magkasama nung umuulan? Why are you blushing yesterday?"
