Time seems to fly faster or am I just that absentminded? I was there with them, but I wasn't physically there. I can't even remember Tianna's reaction when we surprised her earlier. Halos lutang din ako nung inabot ko sakanya yung regalo ko. The two silver necklace I brought when I was in Baguio. But I still sincerely wish her a happy birthday, my mind isn't just cooperating with me.

I messed up a lot of times while preparing before the surprise. Like when I almost put the lighter in the cake instead of the candle. Or when I stick the balloon number in an order of one two instead of two one in the wall. My mind was completely elsewhere.

Beside the fact that I just found out about Alexis findings and having a talk with Waive. Dumagdag sa iniisip ko yung sinabi ni Dia. I haven't seen him yet but I couldn't help but think how I should act infront of him from now on. Alam kong hindi madali sa part nya yung mga bagay na sinabi ko. And it won't change the fact that I hurt him, kahit na sabihin pang ginawa ko yon para walang gawin si Dad sa nanay nya.

Come to think of it. Alam kaya ni Dad na si Tita Nicole yon? I don't think he will use her, cause it seems like he still love her until now. He probably just ask his secretary to tell him the details and that was it. He didn't even bother to know the identity of the person he used to make me obey. Even though he has the best investigator with him. Or was it because he completely cut ties with his past lover? It also seems like he doesn't know that Kian was his son.

Right.

Kian will be a Sandoval after this. Well it's still entirely up to him if he wants to have his surname change. His life will be much easier too, he won't have to work. And he will have the money he needed for his mother's operation. I hate to have the Sandoval name again but if it's because of him, I might just let it be. I mean if we do have a chance.

"Blair?" Nawala ako sa pagiisip ng marinig kong may tumawag sa pangalan ko. I shift my head to the side where Courtney was. She took a sip in her drink, before tilting her head towards me. "Did you hear what I just said?"

All of us are outside right now. Courtney , Jaden and I were the only one who isn't playing with water. Jaden was inside the cottage, he get burns easily so he stayed in there. While Courtney and I are under the big umbrella under the sun, sitting in the blanket we laid out earlier.

"Sorry, was what it again?" Wala na naman sa kasalukuyan yung utak ko. And it was Courtney I'm with of all people. She was sharp when it comes to things.

"I could repeat it but I'm curious about something else now. You seems absentminded today. Was it because of that guy being here?" Diretstahan nyang tanong. This is what I'm talking about! She might be soft-spoken and rarely speak her mind but she can be straight forward when she wanted to. "He was stealing glances at you for a while now."

"Huh? Who?" Agad kumunot ang noo ko.

"That guy, Cyrus was it?" Turo nya sa lalaking nasa hindi kalayuan. And it was no doubt, it was Kian. Agad nanlamig ang buong katawan ko ng makita sya, kahit na sobrang init. Agad akong nagiwas ng tingin. Why did she pointed him???

Agad kong binaba ang nakaturong daliri ni Courtney bago pa mapansin ni Kian yon. I pick my drink and took a sip after, to calm my nerves. Waive gave me an advice earlier but I can't just approach or talk to him all of a sudden. And the last time we talked wasn't well either. I told him a lot of mean things.

"Does he make you nervous?" Sunod nyang tanong.

"I... H-he does, okay? He does." I hug my knees and look ahead. "Let's stop talking about him shall we?"

"Blair." Tawag nya sa akin. "I'm just as clueless as Ali when it comes to these things. Or you can say that I'm as dense as you when it comes to love. But even I notice things."
