UNEXPECTEDLY (Privileged series #1)

It's already night when I reach our house in manila. Nag stay din muna sila mom and dad don sa Baguio, as they have important things to do. They still didn't bring up the "I'm not my father's daughter" issue. Like they don't have a plan on letting me know at all. Alam kong alam na din ni Lolo if ever kasi no secrets ang promise nila sa isa't isa ni Lola. But even them... it feels like they don't have any plans on telling me about it too.

Anyway, I should stop thinking about that. Kung ayaw nilang sabihin sa akin, I will take matters in my own hands.

At walang mangyayari kung patuloy lang akong magmumukmok dahil sa problemang patuloy na binibigay ng universe sa akin. Yung kay Kyle, about kay Dad not being my Dad, about Kian and his Mom, the unknown organization, Hades plans and even on that guy Alexis.

Now that I mention that guy again. I can't help but sigh. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's that bad of a guy at all. But the way he acts and the words that comes out of his mouth is something I will never grown accustomed to, kahit na hindi ko pa sya ganon kakilala. He's not exactly the type of person I can tolerate.

As for the flow of our conversation in the morning. We will meet tomorrow at five in the afternoon para pag-usapan yung job na ibibigay ko sakanya. In the cafe near the academy. Bakit dun nya naisipang magkita kami? Para daw maging familiar na sya sa kung saan sya dadaan pagpapasok na.

Next week na din pala yung pasukan. My student and VP life will start again. Gusto ko na din sanang simulan yung investigation ko about that unknown organization. And I'm thinking of accepting Hades offer. I still don't trust him though. After the abduction, I will never let my guard down around him. Kahit na hindi na sya kalaban, I can't let go of the thought that he might try something again. He's not exactly the type of person that's easy to read.

I let out a sigh habang nakatingin sa mga bituing nag kikislapan sa taas. Nasa balcony ako nang kwarto ko kabang umiinom nang tsaa. Looking at the stars as my mind go deeper.

Kung anak nga ako ni Mom at kasal sya kay Dad. At anak ni Dad si Kian, doesn't that mean he's my step brother? What a twisted fate kung ganon. I also cant deny the fact that he and my Dad looks so much alike. Except for their personality of course.

How will Kian take it kapag sinabi kong kapatid ko sya? Will he lose interest? That would be easier for both of us.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit nanikip yung dibdib ko, maybe i'm just too tired. Kagagaling ko lang sa mahabang byahe, I should rest.

I put the tea cup down and stand up. I went to my bed at dahan dahang humiga. I didn't let my thoughts to keep me awake at natulog na. I have so many things to do tomorrow. I will visit my child's grave and talk to her about a lot of things. And ask for a little push or strength maybe? Then at 5pm, makikipagkita ako kay Alexis. I let sleep be my temporary rest.

Kinabukasan ay maaga akong umalis nang bahay. Driver ko? Si Mang Edgar, he's our family's personal driver just like Mang Lito. Bago kami dumiretso sa sementeryo, bumili muna ako nang bulaklak at kandila. Nasa byahe parin ako at nakatingin lang sa labas nang bintana nang kotse.

Malayo yung pinaglibingan nang anak ko, since my Dad don't want anyone to know about it. The ceremony to send my child in the afterlife was also made in secrets. In his eyes, it's a disgrace so he made sure that only a selected few knows about it.
