Oikawa x fem reader

Chapter 1:

"Ooh" he had a small smile on his face "oikawa tooru" he said

"Might want to speak more properly so she can read your lips" the girl next to me snickered.

I turn to look at her "I'm fine" I said slowly, and point towards my hearing aids

I then turn to look at that boy, Oikawa, again and nod my head

"Well then let's start" the teacher said.

The periods before lunch went by fast, really fast, but now having to search for the cafeteria...I'm lost. This school is pretty big, a lot bigger than my previous one

"Looking for the cafeteria?" I heard someone say behind me. I turn around and see a boy from my class

He looks like he likes causing trouble  and play around but I am hungry

I nod my head and he turns around "well then let me show you"

I was afraid he was going to lead me somewhere that was not the cafeteria, but he didn't

'Maybe I was wrong'

I bowed as I turn around and was about to grab myself a tray, but before I could someone grabbed it. It's the girl that sits next to me

"Sorry didn't see you there" she gave me a smile, but there was nothing friendly about it

"Yuki you're such a sweet person for apologising to someone who clearly pushed in-front of you" a girl with long blond hair said

"Amai, you're totally right" the girl who has  not been so nice since the morning, known as Yuki, said.

Absolutely stunning. Her skin is perfection, she has big brown eyes and smooth and silky black hair, she's the definition of beauty to bad her personality sucks

I didn't say anything as I just turn around. I search around the school for a vending machine and find one

Before I enter my money someone else also wanted to

"Sorry" I said pulling away my money and so did the other person.

It's Oikawa

"You first" he said. I put my money in and get my snack before Oikawa did the same

Before I could even say anything I hear girls squealing. I slightly groan as I touch my hearing aid and turn around

'Way to loud' I thought as I make my way back to the class

When school ended I was going to make my way home but the teacher stopped me

"Here is the work we've done so far in all you classes, if it's possible could you try and catch up as soon as possible" the teacher explained rather slowly

I always appreciate it when people talk slower when I'm not wearing my hearing aids, but I'm clearly wearing them so they can speak normally

I took the things and thanked the teacher. I was going to make my way back home but stopped once I walked past the gym. I see another school was here

"The wingless crows, is that what they're called?" Someone said as they walked past me

"Yeah, they were good in volleyball but not anymore" their friend said

I stood outside the gym for a while before entering. I wasn't going to stay to long because I had to get home and catch up the work, but I stayed longer than I thought

Our school was playing against Karasuno, and they weren't to bad

Just when the second set ended I heard girls screaming. I wince as I touch my hearing aid. I search for the cause and see Oikawa

'He must be very popular amongst the girls' I thought as I turned around, the noise was to much for me

When I got home, my mother was busy in the kitchen but stopped once she saw me. She cleaned her hands and made her towards me

"How was your first day?"

"It was okay" I said as I take my shoes off

"And how are the children?"

"They're alright I guess" I said, I don't want my mother to worry about me to much

When I was about 8 years old I became deaf due to an accident. For about 5 years I didn't wear any hearing aids because we couldn't afford them, but I managed with sign language and reading lips.

Whenever I spoke my words didn't come through properly. You could still understand what I was saying, sometimes, but it sounded muffled and like my tongue was dragging

A few months after I got my cochlear implant things changed and we couldn't afford speech therapy anymore and we moved to a new prefecture

So I'm trying my best to speak properly and slowly so people can understand and I thought I improved but Yuki made it sound like I didn't

So yeah, I don't want my mother to worry to much about what is going at school, she already has to much to worry about

I make my way to my room and throw my bag to the floor and set the work the teacher gave me down on my desk
