Oikawa x fem reader

Y/n pov:

It's been 2 days since everything happened, and I haven't gone back to school but I can't afford missing anymore work so I need to go back

It's going to be tough without my hearing aids but I'll be able to manage as long as the teachers don't turn their backs towards me

I got ready and my mother dropped me off at school. When we got their I sat in the car until the last minute

"I phoned and explained everything to the school"

"Thank you" I sighed as I got out of the car

"Will I be picking you up?"

I shook my head "I'll walk it's fine, thank you mom" I waved goodbye as I enter the school.
My ear was still in a little pain but it was  manageable

When I entered the class everyone turned to look at me. I drop my head and walk to my desk. Finally when I get to my desk and sit down and I lift my head. Some were still looking at

"Her hearing aids" one girl said before she covered her mouth

I felt someone tap me and I turn around and see Oikawa but I turn my attention to the front of the class

I did manage with reading the lips of the teachers, but it was hard. I couldn't make any notes, and the teacher kept constantly looking at me giving me a pitiful smile

I hate this.

When it was lunch time I make my way towards the vending machine but I got stopped. I turn to look at the person and see it's Oikawa

Before I said anything he...he signed

"I'm sorry"

I was surprised

"I didn't know you can sign" I said, once again I hope I wasn't shouting

"I can't" he said slowly so I could read his lips "I recently started learning it"

That's sweet

"But that's not the point" he signed but slowly, which is understandable "the day it happened I was laughing, but not at you...I would never do that"

I looked at him confused

"Did I sign something wrong?" He asked and I shook my head. He looked relieved and continued "but it was wrong, I should have stopped Yuki"

"Please" Oikawa signed which confused me

"Please?" I asked confused. Oikawa looked at his hands

"Ooh" he had his hand in a fist instead of having his palm flat "I meant sorry, not please"

I couldn't help but smile

"It's okay, I forgive you" I signed but Oikawa was a bit confused "it means, it's okay I forgive you"

Oikawa smiled before he spoke "show me again please"

I showed him the signs and he got it right in no time at all. I was going to pay for my snack before Oikawa beat me to it

"I still feel bad even if you forgave me" he said

"You're acting weird" I said as I turn around. He quickly walked passed me and stopped infront of me

"Why?"

"Aren't girl usually chasing after you and not the other way around?" I ask

His eyes widen "it's not like that" he crossed his arms

"Then why are you so friendly" I said "don't me wrong there's nothing wrong with it, it's just people might find is suspicious or something, because no one seems to like me but the guy everyone is drooling over is hanging out with this...freak"

"You're shouting" oikawa smiled

"I am!" I cover my mouth "I am so sorry"

"I'm just joking" his smile grew "and you're not a freak, got it" he turned around and made his was back to class

I stood there for a few seconds before I start walking again, when I got to class I see Tenshi waiting there

"Y/n!" She rushed towards me and hugged me before pulling away "are you okay?"

"Yes, thank you"

She looked relieved "yuki, I'm going to punch her" she lifts her fist

"Sorry I didn't respond to you message"

"Ooh no it's fine, it was probably weird" she looked embarrassed about it

"No it wasn't"

And I mean it. I've never had someone get my number and message me just to ask if I was okay. Tenshi looked relieved before she spoke "if it's possible, will you still help me after school?" She fiddled with her finger

"Yeah"

She grinned before she turned her head "it's time for me to head to class, see you later" she walked past me as she waved goodbye

I enter the class and take a seat, where I find a note

'Freak' it said. I look around class but there wasn't really anyone here except me and Oikawa. I see Yuki enter the class and when she saw me holding the note. I see her body shaking, which means she's probably laughing

Amai was with her, so Yuki leans closer to her while keeping eye contact. She covers her mouth and a few seconds later Amai laughs as she looked at me

The note I had in my hand was taken by Oikawa. He looked at it before turning to look at Yuki. He tore the note and walked towards Yuki and gave it to her

I couldn't see if he said anything to her, but I think he did. Yuki frowned as she threw the paper away before storming towards her desk

I watch Oikawa as he stood by the door talking to someone. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turn to see Katashi?

He extends his hand where I see the exact drink he got my last time, that spilled on my uniform and books

"I want to apologise" he said as he put the drink down on my table. I was having trouble reading his lips, but I managed

"for?" I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote it down before I grab the drink, opening it

"For laughing, it wasn't actually funny" He said. I took a sip of the drink "and also spilling on your book and uniform"

I put the drink down "It's okay" I wrote again

"how about I take you out tonight, to apologise properly."

I raise my brow, confused

"see you tonight, I know you help with the volleyball so wait for me at the gate and then we take it from there"

before I could reply he went to his desk

that was a bit strange
