Oikawa x fem reader

y/n pov:

I stayed after school, finishing the last of my work

"finally" I said as I stretched. I pack up my books and also put Oikawa's books on his table, leaving him a note saying 'thank you'

I left the class. I decided to walk past the gym and see the volleyball boys practicing

'they practice a lot' I thought to myself, before I turn around someone calls my name

"y/n!"

I turn around but don't see anyone. I peak into the gym and see Tenshi

she waves her hand and gestures for me to come in. I was hesitant but I enter and close the door behind me

everyone had their attention turned towards me

"do you guy want to do an extra lap?" The coach, I'm assuming, said

everyone quickly turned their attention back to the court.

"what are you doing here so late?" Tenshi asked once I stopped next to her

"homework" I said. My attention was on the players. Watching them now is different from their practice match yesterday, why?

"Oikawa focus on the game!" a guy threw Oikawa with a ball, causing it to hit him against the head

"what was that for Iwa!" oikawa frowned as he looked at the guy

"why are you here so late?" I turn my attention back to Tenshi

"my grandpa is the coach" she signaled towards the coach "I like watching them play, and I don't really have much to do after school"

"that's it for today's practice" the coach said

"okay let's get to cleaning" Iwa clasped his hands together

Tenshi nudges me "can I ask you a favour?"

I nod my head

"they have been practicing for a while and must be tired, do you mind if we offer to clean up?"

"I don't mind" I said. Tenshi smiled and gave me a quick hug

"thank you" she turned towards her grandpa "we'll clean"

her grandpa looked at her all confused

"yeah" I said "they must be tired" I slowly say and tenshi placed her hand on my shoulder giving me a thumbs up

and I couldn't help but feel proud

her grandpa thought about it for a second before he agreed

"you boys are lucky, go get changed" he closed his eyes as he shook his head

the boys left the gym, leaving Tenshi and I alone

"sorry for dragging you into this"

"I really don't mind" I gave her a smile. Just  before we finished cleaning the boys came back and they took the cleaning equitement from us

"thank you" they said "we'll put these away"

Tenshi smiled and nodded and I did the same

I turn around and went to grab my bag, but before Tenshi grabbed it

"Thank you" tenshi said "first you stuck up for me and now you did me a favour, I really owe you a lot"

I take my bag "I don't mind" I said "I actually like volleyball so this was nice"

"you like volleyball"

I tried not to get to excited because then my words won't get through

"I can't really watch matches because I don't like the loud noise, so I always watch on Television...but yeah I like it"
