"make sure to take some pictures" my mother said as she dropped me off at the mall
"Mom" I laughed as I opened the door
"I'm sorry" my mom gave me a smile "I'll pick you up at around 2 to take you to your other friends house"
"Thank you" I close the door before I open it "love you" I closed it again. I take out my phone and look at Tenshi's message, saying where she'll meet me
Before we came here, we stopped at the audiologist and she checked if everything was fine. I was scheduled for surgery in a month and she gave me my hearing aid back, but she advised I try not to wear it until next week
But I have to now, just while we're hanging out
I put my hearing aid and I smile, hearing everything around me, it makes me feel relieved and happy
I walk towards the cafe Tenshi sent and see her sitting there. She stood up and waved. I make my way towards her and take a seat
"Good morning " she grinned "I see you got your hearing aid in again"
I touch it and smile "yeah we got it this morning"
Tenshi calls the waiter and he took our order
"Thank you for agreeing to hang out" Tenshi said after the waiter left
"Can I be honest?" I say "I've never really done stuff like this, so when you asked me I thought it was a dream"
Tenshi tilts her head "why?"
"Let's just say in my previous school everyone was like Yuki, maybe even worse"
The waiter brought our drinks and we continued talking. Tenshi is really easy to talk to, which is nice
After we ate Tenshi and I just walked around the mall
"Do you have any siblings?" Tenshi asks
I shook my head "no, and you"
"I have 2 older brothers and 2 younger sister" she grabs her face "and let me tell you they drive me crazy"
I laugh and we walk past a small store and I stop. I see these cute alien keychains
Oikawa likes aliens. Maybe I should get him one, as a thank you gift
"Can we quickly go here?" I ask. I look at Tenshi and she looks at the store a bit confused but nods
I look at everything and finally take one
