Oikawa x fem reader

y/n pov:

when I enter the class I see katashi standing at my desk, and when he saw me he waved.

"about last night, something urgent came up and I didn't have you number..." he said, and I'm assuming he's trying to look upset but it's just not working

"it's fine" I replied

"let me make it up, how about tonight. This time I'm taking your number as well" he took out his phone

"I actually have plans tonight, sorry"

he moved his phone closer "I still want your number, then we can just reschedule"

I took his phone and type in my number. While I was busy Yuki walked past katashi, putting her hand on his shoulder, leaning closer and whispering in his ear

'last night was fun' I read her lips before turning my attention towards his phone. I change the last digit of my phone number before giving his phone back

"looking forwards to it'' he smiled as he turned to go to his seat. I watch him and notice him winking at Yuki

I feel my desk shake and look around seeing Oikawa standing at the door, he must have put force into opening the door

he was looking at Yuki not taking his eyes off her until he got to his desk

'looks like Yuki is the center of attention today'

our English teacher enters the class and gives us back a test we wrote yesterday

'don't English teacher usually take the longest to mark test' I thought as the teacher put down my test

I pick up my paper

I turn to Oikawa and show him my paper. He had a smug look on his face as he showed me his paper

at least he's in a better mood than a few minutes again

"you cheated" Oikawa signed but "I saw you copying my work" he mouthed this part

I roll my eyes "I'll beat you next time" I write on a piece of paper, I don't trust myself enough to whisper without my hearing aids (but even with my hearing aids I can't whisper) and I don't think he knows how to sign that yet

Seeing him sign makes me really happy, like I said I didn't really have friends so there was no one to make that sort of effort, it's just like Tenshi

After school my Japanese literature teacher stopped me as she showed me my test we recently wrote as well

"I suggest putting in extra work. I see you're doing quite well in all your other subjects, it's just this one" she gave me a smile "but it's not something that can't be fixed"

I bowed as I left the class going to volleyball practice. Tenshi was already sitting on the bench with some snack for us

"Thank you" I said as she gave me my stuff. The whole practice my mind was with Japanese Literature

Tenshi waves her hand infront of my face so I turn to look at her

"Everything okay?" She asked and I nod

"Just thinking about some stuff is all" I gave her a small smile and return to just staring of into space.

The next time Tenshi tries to get my attention is to let me know practice was over

"Oikawa said he's staying longer, so he offered to clean up" Tenshi grabbed her bag "are you coming?"

"I think I'll stay a little longer as well" I slightly turn to look at Oikawa

"I would love to but my parents aren't really happy with me staying after school already, so I don't think they'll like me staying any longer"

"It's okay" I said

"Also...Umm I'm going to the mall tomorrow do you want to join me?"

I was surprised by her question that I forgot to answer but slowly I nod my head "yes"

Tenshi smiled "I'll send you more details" she waved "bye" she turned around and rushed out of the gym

I turn to look at Oikawa and sigh

"Isn't it getting late." I ask and he threw the ball into the air, spiking it really hard. He turns to look at me and I see his chest raising

He didn't answer so I stood up and walked towards him "can I try?" He picks a ball up and gestures with it towards me

I take my schools shoes off and walk towards him, trying not to slip

I take the ball. I know I have to throw it in the air but what if I miss

"Iike this" Oikawa was standing slightly infront of me so I could read his lips, but he walked behind me and slightly lifted my arm

He used my arm to throw it into the air, grabbing my other one and using it to hit the ball, and I did

A smile appeared on my face and I turn to look at him

"That was all me" my smile grew and he gave me another ball

"Please show me your ways"

I take the ball and turn to look at the court, taking a deep breath. I threw it into the air and boomI hit it, over the net

"Did you see that!" I jumped up and down as I turn to face him

"The professional are shaking right now"

I cross my arms "maybe I should teach you"

"Please" he moves out of the way for me to grab a ball. I bend down and take another one

as I gave it to him, our hands slightly touch

"Like this" I did exactly what he did to me but he didn't hit the ball "too bad, you need more practice"

Oikawa's shoulders were shaking and when he turns round look at me I see him laughing

"You think so?"

I nod my head "but not tonight, you've practiced enough" I walk to the other side of the court to get the balls. We started cleaning the gym and in no time we started walking home

"All jokes aside though, you're really good" I said looking at him while we were walking

"Hard work" he looked upset saying it. I slightly bump against him

"Well it paid off" I said "ooh yeah before I forget, how good are you in Japanese literature"

"Top in the class" he had a smug look on his face. Sometimes I just want to slap it away, but it adds to his character

"Well I'm doing bad, so since I helped you with maths will you help me with Japanese Literature?"

Oikawa nods his head "do you want to come over tomorrow, then we can start"

"Tenshi invited me to the mall, but I'll come after that"

"Do you want to stay for dinner as well" oikawa looks at me before he shook his head "my mother said I must invite you over"

"Aww I really thought it was my turn to have a date night with Oikawa"

"You're not funny" he smiled "and before I forget, the movie we're going to watch is going to be about aliens"

"Do you like aliens? And I thought you were joking"

"I do actually, and I was very serious. So I just hope the have some kind of alien movie in the cinema" oikawa lifts his head to look at the sky

"Well then see you tomorrow" I said as walk towards my house. "Thank you" I wave goodbye as I enter my house
