Chapter 3:

Tenshi's smile grew

"but I don't really know much about it"

"I'll teach you" Tenshi said as she headed for the door.

Everyone did the same and then said said goodbye. I was one of the last one's to leave the gym but I stop

"are you staying?" I ask, but I didn't turn to look at him

"yeah" oikawa said

"don't hurt yourself" I slightly turn my head and look at his legs

he didn't say anything so I turn around and left making my way home

''welcome home" My mom said after I took my shoes off "you're home late"

"yeah, I was helping a friend"

my mom rushed out of the kitchen "a friend?!" she had a huge grin on her face and I couldn't help but smile too

I told my mom about my day and the next day when my mother took me to school she made me wait in the car

"Is that her?" My mom would ask about almost every girl walking past our car "ooh is it that girl" my mom points towards Yuki

"No" I pulled my face "I need to go, but I'll introduce you to her I promise"

"Goodbye sweetie, enjoy your day" my mom waved.

Yuki and Amai were standing at the gate and when they saw me they walked towards me. Yuki wrapped her arm around my shoulder and forced me to keep walking

"Little girl can't go without her mommy?" Yuki scoffed. She leaned closer to my ear "huh!"

I wince as I pull away. I cover my ear and Yuki laughs

"Baby" she waved as she walked away, Amai following

When I made it to class I see Yuki isn't here, so I sigh

"Are you just going to keep standing here or..." Oikawa said from behind me causing me to quickly move out of the way

"Sorry" I said. I watch as he makes his way to his desk. He looks different today, he's wearing glasses?

I make my way to my table and take out my things

"Did you catch up with everything?" Oikawa asks not taking his eyes off his book

"Yeah" I said before I took a deep breath "thank you"

He hums and continued with whatever he was busy with.

"Y/n"

I lift my head and see Tenshi standing at the door. I wave as I stand up and make my way towards her

"Good morning" she smiled as she pulled out a plastic bag "for you"

"what for?" I ask as I take it from Tenshi

"To say thank you" she said "and to ask if you would maybe join me every afternoon, if you have time, and help"

I look inside the bag and see some snacks and one of my favourite drinks

"Yeah, I would l-lo" I stop. I can't say this properly "lou-"

"Thank you" tenshi bows before she turns around "well then see you at lunch" she waves as she start running

I turn around

"Noa-" I say but I just can't. While walking back to my desk I try to say it but I just couldn't. Feeling frustrated with myself I roughly put the bag down on my table causing Oikawa to look at me from the corner of his eye

"Nau ...no..."

"Love?" Oikawa said and I turn to look at him. I take a seat and look at him. He moves his chair closer "are you struggling to pronounce love?"

"No" I cross my arms. I don't want someone to feel sorry for me or mock me, I'm not in the mood

"Look" he points to his mouth "and listen okay"

I sigh as I turn my body to face him, leaning a bit closer

"L" he said looking at me. At first I was confused until he raised his eyebrows

"L" I said with a lot of struggling. This is one letter which I struggle with

"O"

"O" I know this one

"V"

"V" the vibration of this letter always tickles my lips in some way

"E"

"E" I know this one too

"Love" oikawa repeats slowly

"Ngove" I said and felt frustrated that I can't get it

"Try again"

I take a deep breath. I look at him and slowly repeat the letter once more before saying it "love"

And I smile "I said it?"

Oikawa nods and my smile grew even more

"I did it" I slightly bow my head "thank you"

And before he said anything Yuki interrupted us

"What's going on?" She crossed her arms "y/n-"

"Love" I said again as I smiled. I move in my chair, sitting properly behind my desk as I smiled
