Chapter 5

I grab a notebook because I can't say this word but even before I could write it down Oikawa placed his hand on the notebook and pushed it down

"You can talk to me, don't worry"

I close the book, feeling some sort of uneasy feeling in my stomach

"Place for book"

Oikawa was confused before he spoke "library?"

I nod "there" I said "but don't you do good in maths"

I mean I did hear the teacher say he had competition for the top spot now

"Not with this chapter" he said as he turned around to leave

Oikawa pov:

I went to the library and got us a seat far from everyone. I waited for about 5 minutes for y/n which was weird, she can't be packing up her stuff for that long, right?

Finally I see her and signal for her. She came towards me with the snack she got from the vending machine last time and with a snack I got that time we bumped into each other

She set it down infront of me and took a seat next to me taking out her books

"I'm a little worried" she said

"Why"

"The whole explaining part" she opened her book.

I smile "it's okay"

We then started. There were some words she struggled to pronounce but I know what's going on in maths so it didn't bother me too much. I place my elbow on the table and lean against my hand as I watch her showing me how to solve the problem

Which I know how to do

"Why are you asking for my help?" She asked after she watched me solve the problem

"Well you did good in your test, which you weren't even prepared for, right?" I put down the pen

"Yeah but you're smart"

"Do you know how much I got for the test?" I ask and she nods no "then how do you know"

"I heard the teacher say you have competition now"

I laughed "well like I said, I'm struggling with this chapter"

"Well you did solve the problem"

"All thanks to your help" I leaned closer "you're a wonderful teacher"

Y/n rolls her eyes as she turns away, closing her book "yeah whatever"

"Tell me something what is this place called"

"You think you're funny"

"I know I am" I grinned but she didn't say anything "just give it a try"

She tried, but failed, which was cute. I like how much effort she puts into her words, so that people can understand her and not wonder what's she's saying

Like last time with love, I help her pronounce library, which eventually she got

And she got all excited again

"Thanks" she said and repeated library to herself again

I close my book and pack up my things

"thank you for helping, I understand what's going on now"

"Sure" she said sarcastically as she packed up her things

"No I'm serious" I close my bag and throw it over shoulder "well then let's go"

"Where?" She raised her brow

"Home, we can walk together" I turn around and start walking before I turn around "well are you coming?"

She just looked at me before she nods. As we left the library there were still some fangirls. They ran towards me asking for picture and all the basic stuff. I turn to look at y/n and see her holding her ear

It's like she did after Yuki screamed into her ear, is it too loud for her?

"Wait here" I said to y/n "come let's take the pictures over there"

The girls screamed and I tried to get them away as fast as possible. After we were done I make my way back towards y/n

"Well then let's go"

Y/n didn't say much on our walk but once we got to my house she thanked me

"What for"

But she didn't reply, she only turned around and waved goodbye. I watch her as she walk away before turning around

When I open the door my mother was standing there

"Who was that?"

"Mom really" I got startled but tried not to show it

"Am I being weird?" My mother asked as she stepped to the side and I went inside taking off my shoes

"Maybe a little"

My mother didn't say anything else and just looked at me, smiling and waiting

"Y/n" I finally said

"Beautiful young lady" my mother said as she turned around "is she new in town also"

"I guess so"

"Maybe you should invite her over for dinner sometime" my mother walked towards the kitchen

"Yeah I'm not doing that"

How would I even bring that up since we're barely friends

"Just a thought, now come the foods ready"
