I have decided upon thought that I may write a short excerpt of the Butler I have spoken of. It is quite difficult to imagine if I do say so myself that a man of great stature and grace would be in my accompaniment as a servant. He is well above the average height of many, and I imagine he had gained such a figure from greater stock. His demeanor is often kind but himself, quite built for a more difficult time and has protected my parentage at various periods in seasons in the past. Formidable in strength and agility it is no wonder that many do not discuss the theft of my treasures that I love so dear. Even so, his person is not something to be fearful or plagued by dread. He indeed is of a kinder sort and has spent much of his years taking care of this young master.
It is noted that he seems to be always in contact with members of those who birthed me and provides the necessary letters detailing how I should engage with these lesser beings. Of course, I do not believe that it is my duty to be in complete compliance to every ask that they, these two that brought me into the world may ask but, in some points I do fulfill out of respect for their persons. In truth, if some ask or question may benefit my own person in some way then I will gladly oblige as it may seem necessary to do so.
Although, if I am unable to agree to such a task it is in my power to always reply with a short 'jamais' and move on without much thought. In times past, when young, I have found after my two donors who bear my last name left for brighter sunshine's this butler with the white tuft down the middle would often take care of some affairs that pertained to the poor without my input. As I was young it was difficult to have much say in such affairs however upon growth and maturity on my part, that soon changed.
It is required of some that they may suffer and experience hardship and others the glory of the earth's goodness in all forms. To enjoy the very fruits of one's labor along with satiation of that of others is a bonus for those in such a category of wealth like I. Even if it were so that my Butler with the white tuft down the middle, for whatever reason choose to disagree it would not be in my interest to care at any point of his opinion. Between me and you, my understanding reader, it has at time crossed my mind that this butler of mine has written these letters himself or added on to whatever my ancestors who birthed me have written upon these shorter scrolls. It would not surprise me in the least for him to do something so brash. However, even so, if this were the case it is not of surety that in my anger I would be capable of being rid of such a man. He indeed has been like a parent for this young master for some time. I shall speak on this further when I can recall.
