Greenlee ran down through the hallway so that she can get to Ryan's room, passing by doctors, nurses, medical staff and families affected by the Chandler Mansion incident. She didn't even need Jake to tell her about Ryan due to the mood and how Jake looked before making a run for it. Suddenly out of the corner of her eye, she saw Ryan in a hospital room as the nurses were removing certain things from him.
Greenlee – Ryan...
She bumped went past the nurse who tried to stop her. Greenlee took Ryan's hand and felt no pulse as reality set in for her.
Greenlee – It can't end like this...not like this....
Feeling emotional, Greenlee felt misty-eyed and shook her head. Jackson, who finally caught up to his daughter, comes into the room with Jake.
Jackson – Greenlee...
Greenlee – NO!
Greenlee stood in front of the bed that the now deceased Ryan Lavery was in. She narrowed her now water eyes onto him.
Greenlee – I am not going to let both of you take him away from me, not after all we've been though together. It can't end like this.
Jackson – You're hurting right now honey; but Ryan wouldn't want this. He would of-
Greenlee – You don't know a damn thing about what he would want right now dad. The Ryan Lavery I know wouldn't give up!
Jake – We did all we could Greenlee to save him, but it wasn't enough. Again, I am sorry.
Greenlee – Take your apology and shove it Jake, what good are you as a doctor anyway?
Jackson – Greenlee! That's enough!
Jake – Everyone let's just relax, come on Jackson, we need to give Greenlee some time to grieve.
Greenlee – Yes, take my loser of a father out of this room right now. I want to be alone with the man I loved the most.
Jackson was about to say something, but Jake put his hand on his arm and gave him that look about giving his daughter time alone to mourn Ryan's loss.
Jackson – Fine, we'll leave but I will be right outside the room honey, alright?
Jackson and Jake leave the room. Greenlee looks back at Ryan before she kneels over the bed to kiss him on the lips softly.
Greenlee – Damn it Ryan, it wasn't supposed to end like this. We were supposed to live the rest of our lives together, THIS was the time. Now you're gone...

As Aidan and Anna were talking in the visitor room of the prison Aidan was in for quite a while, he felt glad to finally be out. The one thing that's uncertain is what the rest of his life will be despite working for the WSB. Aidan was no stranger of globetrotting and saving the world but at some point, he would have to settle down and care for his own family he wanted to make for himself. But as far as dating goes or getting into an intimate relationship, that was way down the road until Aidan is ready for it.
Anna – Perfect, I am glad you accepted the deal Aidan. You won't regret this one bit; I promise you that.
Aidan – Sometimes promises can be broken. Don't get me wrong, I trust you Anna, it's just that these past few years have been hard on me. Trusting people besides you will take some time.
Anna – As it has, I don't doubt that whatsoever luv, but at the end of the day what matters is the now and not back then. But the only person who can change his future is you, just don't blow this opportunity.
Aidan nodded and knew Anna was right when she made a great point.
Aidan – Duly noted. Anyway, what's going to happen next?
Anna – I've already spoken to the warden about the deal, so he already knows. I already brought some fresh clothes for my nephew right here.
Anna shows Aidan the bag of clothes she had for him before Aidan nods his head.
Aidan – You came prepared, but I am not surprised, that's always your specialty. But I appreciate it, guess I need to go ahead and get ready.
Anna – Yes you do, and when you are ready, how about I throw you in the line of fire for your first WSB assignment?
Aidan chuckled.
Aidan – After spending what feels like a lifetime in this hell hole, sure, why not? Anything to get my mind off this place and Pine Valley as a whole.
Anna – Say no more but go-ahead Aidan. I'll let the warden know and nothing else should get in our way. Meet me outside when you're done.
Aidan leaves the visiting room and goes to the showers. The prison guard gave him the clothes which Anna gave to the guard before leaving the room. Making his way to the showers, Aidan stripped down and undressed leaving his prison suit on the outside. As he started taking his shower, all was well until out of the corner of his eye saw two prison inmates come in which made him be on alert.
Aidan – What the hell are-
Before anything could even finish his question, the two inmates attacked Aidan in the shower. Despite fighting back in self-defense, it was two on one and too much for him to handle. Feeling them throwing him against the wall, one of the inmate's stab Aidan in the chest with a knife causing him to scream in pain.
