Ailee || Like A Moth To A Flame

Greenlee listens to the doctor and nurse who gives her aspirin for her forehead since she has a headache due to the attack from earlier. But Greenlee didn't listen or wanted to hear anyone at thie moment, she still had revenge on her mind from what this person almost did to her mother. Greenlee wanted to act and make sure this person is stopped at the end of the day. So, once they left, Greenlee started to stand up and grab her purse with Aidan watching who was in the room but approaching her.

Aidan – What are you doing right now Greenlee?

Greenlee – Getting the hell out of here.

Greenlee was about to leave until Aidan got in the way.

Aidan – I will ask you again, what are you doing?

Greenlee – I am getting out of here, are you deaf or blind or not hearing? Move Aidan.

Aidan – Where? To see your mother?

Greenlee – None of your business Aidan, now get out of my way.

Aidan doesn't move.

Aidan – No Greenlee, you could have been killed earlier you know?

Greenlee – Correction, me AND my mother could have been killed, remember?

Aidan – Of course I do, right now though the last thing you need is to go after him or her. We don't know what we're dealing with yet.

Kendall comes back into the room.

Kendall – Everything alright Greenlee? I just finished checking in with Zach and the boys are fine right now.

Greenlee – Yes, I am ready to blow this joint Kendall.

Kendall – It's not safe Greenlee, where can we even go right now?

Greenlee – I don't know, ANYWHERE but here right now.

Kendall – How about we head back to the hotel? The last thing we need is something else to happen to either one of us. Maybe we can go back to the office at Fusion and-

Greenlee – No I can't focus on work either. We can head back to the hotel that we're staying in.

Aidan – I'll make sure the authorities follow you guys there just to be safe.

Greenlee – Thank you Aidan, we appreciate it.

Suddenly Aidan's cell phone buzzes and he sees the text on his cell phone.

Aidan – It's from Di, they need to see me. But i'll make sure to get an officer for your room, you have my word on that.

After Aidan left the room, he left to meet up with Di and Anna in the security room. But Greenlee and Kendall to an extent was in the back of his mind. Though he could tell Greenlee's mind was going in a hundred or even more directions about what to do next. She had to be worried and scared about what could happen next, though Greenlee wouldn't tell him, Kendall or anyone to their faces. The only goal now was to find out who's responsible for going after her and her mom, as Aidan sees Di and Anna in the security room.

Aidan – You wanted to see me?

Anna – Yes, we did Aidan. Thank you for coming.

Aidan – What's this about?

Di – We think, or shall I say we KNOW who is responsible for the murders and who came after Greenlee and Mary.

Aidan – Good, who is it?

Anna points to the monitor and shows Aidan the woman running out of Mary's room.

Anna – Does she look like someone whom you would know?

Aidan gets closer to the monitor and his mouth falls open seeing the woman's face with the scrubs on.

Aidan – No...it can't be her.

Di – So you do know the woman? Because we don't.... what's her name Aidan?

Aidan slowly nods but sighs.

Aidan – Yes, that's her. Her name is Kat, but she was the one who tried to kill Mary and Greenlee?

Di – Sure looks like it and most of all the other ones she committed.

Aidan – The last time me and her saw one another was when I kidnapped Kendall, then I was arrested before I got myself thrown in prison. Kat and I haven't had any contact with each other since then.

Anna – Not even a visit from Kat?

Aidan – Nope, not visit at all. I didn't even check in on her, I mean she was able to take care of herself but I had no idea it was this bad or what she went through while I was inside the slammer

Di – But why would she do this in the first place?

Anna – Maybe to get revenge on Aidan?

Aidan – Why me? After everything I did for Kat after her husband, who was a good friend of mine, before he passed away, why would Kat do this?

Di – That's what were going to find out which is the next step. Where's Greenlee and Kendall?

Aidan – Still in the hospital room last time I checked. Greenlee wants to leave and head back to the hotel, should we tell her about Kat though?

Anna – Not yet but we'll tell her. For now, though, make sure her and Kendall have protection for the room they're staying in for the hotel. In the meantime, me and Di are going back to investigate this with Fusion. Once were done with that, we'll bring the women into the fold.

Aidan nodded as he left the room to decide with the local police while Anna and Di looked on the screens for anything else he missed out on. But as he made his way down the hall back to the room where Greenlee was with Kendall, Aidan told them that he would get an officer for the two when they left before the spy was gone. With so much guilt, Aidan went around the corner and covered his face with his own hands, feeling the guilt even though this wasn't his fault.
