Chapter eight:::.  Succumbing to the ❤️ heart

         ". What are you doing here ???, did you come to congratulate me over my ascension to the throne ". Bruce said cockily

   ". Nah , I came here for another purpose , can you say those last words you said the night I left , I want to know whether they are true????". Linda asked

     ". Really????". Bruce asked with a smirk

". Yes now say it ???".  Linda knew she was acting childish with her arms crossed and like a teenager asking her boyfriend if he loves her .  Boyfriend????? she wondered, it felt weird in her tongue, but she liked it.

   ". I love you Linda don't forget that ". Bruce said quoting the last line he said that day
    
     (  In chapter five , Bruce last line was " l love you Linda don't forget that". , Saved you the trouble to go back ).

     ". That's what I want to hear ". Linda said and super sped to his front and kisses him

   " So you didn't tell me back ". Bruce asked pouting and she had to agree he was cute

    ". I love you too Bruce Linus ". Linda said as she sat on his lap

   ". So when did you realize". Bruce asked as soon as the the thought crossed his mind .

    ". Well, long story short , I was drunk in a bar ....". Before she could complete her statement Bruce shouted

   ". Drunk!!!!!". Bruce said with a disapproving face

". Would you calm down, guys approached me .....".

    ". Men approaching my woman , I want them all dead ". Bruce said and a guard bowed and left

   ". What !!!, Calm down Bruce ". Linda said patting his back

    ". No it's not okay, it's not , what of they had taken advantage of you or maybe you had drank too much and have an accident????????". Bruce questioned worriedly

    ". Come on I am a Valtara ( Val- tar - ruh ) for goodness sake , a countess for that matter, can I continue baby  ". Linda said in an amused voice

    ". Sure ". Bruce said loving the way Linda patted his back 

   ". A guy name Jackson walked up to me ( Linda saw how Bruce face scrunched ). He even convinced me to go back to you , he advised me after I opened up to him but didn't disclose anything supernatural and he gave me the confidence to go and I regret devouring his soul, he was a pure hearted human ". Linda said and Bruce smiled

   ". You were hungry weren't you ????".  Bruce asked she didn't care about that Jackson guy , he was only happy the guy brought back his Linda to him before he died poor guy

    ". Yes ". Linda nodded and buried her face on his chest in shyness , she hasn't felt this way for any person and she is sure she has found the one .

    ". O my baby is hungry, why don't you make it up to me for running away that night ". Bruce said and kissed her neck

    ". O yeah ". Linda said and they suddenly found them selves in their room .

  ". Linda I love you ". Bruce said and was rewarded with a kiss

    Demetrius walked in the streets of New York , bored by everything he sat down in a dinner and ordered grilled steak.

       A young lady served his plate , she had black eyes , a good figure and black curly hair .

   ". Here is your meal sir ".  The supposed lady said

      ". Thanks ". Demetrius said blankly

" Em you look new around here ". The lady said    ". My name is Jennifer Hawkins ". The lady said with a smile to Demetrius

     ". Mine is Demetrius Craft, nice to meet you I might see you around ". He said and she walked off to her post .

        Demetrius couldn't get her off his thoughts, then he strolled back to the cafe when he knew Jennifer had closed .

   Then he saw her and some men harassing her
   ". Get your hands off her ". Demetrius said and controlled their minds and they walked away per his command

    ". Yes boss ". They said in unison and walked away

    ". Thank you , Demetrius " Jennifer said and hugged him and then his urges took over him and he kissed her and she reciprocated the passionate kiss .
