Chapter fifty eight:.  How could you ???

Lucifer's POV

I gaze out upon the mortal realm, my eyes burning with an inner fire. They think me a monster, a fallen angel cast from the heavens. But they do not understand.

I am the bringer of light, the spark that ignites the flame of knowledge. I am the one who dared to challenge the tyranny of heaven, who refused to bow to the whims of a capricious God.

And for that, I was cast out. But I did not fall. I rose. I rose to claim my rightful place as the ruler of this world.

I can feel the power coursing through my veins, a power that is both exhilarating and terrifying. I am the storm that rages, the fire that burns.

And yet, despite all my power, I am still bound by the rules of the game. The mortals, with their fleeting lives and fragile souls, still have the power to choose.

They may bow to me, and live. Or they may resist, and die. The choice is theirs.

But I know which choice they will make. I know that they will be drawn to me, like moths to a flame. They will be tempted by my power, seduced by my promises.

And when they succumb, I will be waiting. I will be the one who whispers in their ear, who guides them down the path of destruction.

"You may think me evil, but I am simply a force of nature. I am the storm that rages, the fire that burns. And you, mortals, are but mere sparks, flickering briefly in the darkness "

" Choose wisely Mortals ".    I smiled

" Father ". A voice spoke ,my daughter

" The plan is ready , we have both , the demons are training, your plan is in motion, we march two days from now ". She spoke

" Perfect".   I smiled

Dimitri Black POV

Linda's back but I notice she's pale , she then gathers us to sit down.

" I've kept secrets form all of you ". She paused and I saw the hesitation, I knew it was something big

". I am Azazel's mate , before my soul was reborn, I found out , but only me and him know about it , I told no one after he was cast down along with his father ".   She spoke

All of us gasped, Jennifer was looking at her like she was crazy, Marcus and Drake looked disappointed, Quin looked mad , Zen was rigid , Lewis looked hurt along with Ophelia,  the worst of all was Demetrius.

". How could you not tell me ???". Demetrius voice reached it peak, cracking the glass windows

" HOW COULD YOU !!!!???".  He screamed again as Linda wept .

" I'm sorry OKAY!!!!!, I couldn't tell you , Nyx and I were never close and then after I trapped her I couldn't tell you ". She cried silently

". Well Dimitri you don't look surprised??". Demetrius spoke

" I already knew , I saw them at lightening falls ".  I spoke as Demetrius shook his head

" Any more secrets ???". Zen finally spoke

" Well I made a bargain --".  She paused and looked at Ophelia

" What is it ??". I asked

". She sold her sold in other for the power to change the tide of this war ". Ophelia spoke

" WHAT ". Everyone shouted simultaneously as we looked at Linda

" You're going to give birth mother !!, when we get dad back what are you going too say , what !!!". Lewis cried out

" Well , this is going down , so what are we going to do since we must strike, have you been able to decode the prophecy yet Dimitri ". Jennifer asked

" I haven't thought much on it , but so far ;. remember the Queen of night will join forces with the Lord of lies , the demons of the underworld shall rise , make haste for the dawn of war of fast approaching, a new terror will arise , she will come for the one with a child , he who rules darkness has an heir beware , between their ranks is a traitor he has no fear , on the day of war one of yours will fight against you , one will die ".    I paused

" The queen of the night is Nyx , her father Lucifer and the demons have risen, a new terror will arise , she will come for the one with a child , I think that's Nyx also , Azazel is Lucifer's heir , they have a traitor but who ???". I paused to think as I was interrupted by Drake

" You left out the last part , on the day of war one of yours will fight against you , one will die ".  Drake spoke

" Linda will die , and I already know who will fight against us Bruce but Aura was taken ??". Marcus questioned

" Maybe two will die , what type of whack prophecy is that ??" Drake screamed

Linda looked broken as Demetrius ignored her as she gazed at him .

" I think Aura and Bruce are the ones that will fight against us , Bruce once told me that he had visions which some of you know, that Aura was fighting against him and so did aura when she met us ".  Linda spoke , her voice hoarse from crying

" So the question is who's the traitor???". I asked and everyone paused

" I think we know someone, a liar and a very good one ".  I  spoke

" Vorgath??". Demetrius questioned

" Let's pay him a visit ". 

When we get back , I'm sure we gonna finish this shit , the war has taken out souls and our body's are coming to avenge it .
