Chapter sixty six:. Getting an  Upper hand

Linda Linus POV

I felt my body in so much pain , I was going into labour and in the middle of a war , while kneeling on the floor , with a hook on my throat facing the man I loves but ten feet apart, our eyes told us what we wanted to hear but the suddenly pain .

" ARGH!!!!!?" I screamed and I saw his eyes in worry . My baby, it's now or never !!!!!

". Shadow weaver lend me your power , the power I bargained for , the one to change the tide of this war !!!!!!!!!". I screamed and suddenly I felt it , the wounds on my body healed, all my compadres were healed and suddenly the air seemed stiff before it continued.

" Argh!!" I yelled and teleported myself infront of Nyx .

I took out the daggers behind my back and stabbed her in the back and she yelled, Delilah came at me but Lewis my son came to my aid .

" Argh!!!! , I hate you and I'm the one who weaken your mate bond with my brother, you're an undeserving wretch". She

". Same goes to you ". 

" Time to die , the same spell I used to imprisoned you , the same spell I'll use to bring your demise .

"Queen of the Night
With my eternal rage ,
I curse you thou,.
Never to return,
Burn to ash ,
Never to return".   Her blood drained from her face as she took her last breath and she died .

Lewis took in Delilah as I felt my labour pains coming back to me , with a swift strike the siren died as her throat was cut off .

" Mum are you okay???". He ask worriedly

" I'll be fine , just take me to that building". I spoke as he carried me there . " I'll be back ". He whispered. " Pls don't leave the world before I come " he said and I nodded

The pain increased , ah!!! , I tore my skirt and I saw it , the head coming out .

" Argh!!!! " I screamed, who knew pregnancy could be this painful. In my two hundred and fifty one years did I think of giving birth not after Bruce entered my life .

" Argh". 

* Ahhhhhhhhhhh*.

". Ahhhhhh, ARGH".  I screamed and I looked down .

Almost there ,I comforted myself. Stay alive for the ones who live you before you go and most of all for my baby, stay awake for the little one .

" Argh!!!!!!".

Bruce Linus POV

The fight got good , we were getting the upper hand, Linda seemed to have done something, I needed to go to her but I couldn't, Vorgath and Marcus needed my help . Dimitri wanted to join us but he need to distract Azazel who go more livid since his sister just died.

" It's time ".  I spoke and nodded, Lucifer seemed taken aback when we lunged a trio attack on him but he soon recovered . He fought but it seemed Marcus was getting the upper hand, his skill was remarkable, Vorgath stood at the edge , whispering words into the dragon fire and throwing some at Lucifer and he groaned in anguish which we relished in . This continued for a while until we found a weak spot . I struck my blade but it proved defective, the power I obtained from my captivity came in handy until we had him on his knees with a circle of dragon fire , which proved to be his weakness. But when we thought it was all over , Drake suddenly appeared infront of us , he looked bruised and beaten, he wasn't fighting, he can't fight his mate .

I saw her look at me , she was sent after me , she smiled wickedly as she swung the daggers on her hand .

" She will kill you Bruce ". Lucifer spat and I hissed at him . Zen was  about to fight her but I held him back .

" This was bound to happen, destiny". I spoke and lunged but she avoided suddenly and lunged at Drake .

Wait she's trying to kill her mate, what manipulated game is Lucifer trying to get her under.

" Aura ".  Suddenly the vision of us fighting appeared in my head . Her eyes looking at me , soulless, she lunged .

Then it happened, Azazel struck and then we saw blood on his blade and we looked and saw Dimitri!!!!!!!.

DIMITRI !!!!!!!!! His dead !!!!!!!

" His dead !!". The cry was from Demetrius and Zen looked horrified

" Kill mercilessly my son ". Lucifer's voice was sharp and it hit our hearts.

Our comrade in arms has fallen

Suddenly I felt a slash on my bad , I got prepared she's fast , her moves were quick but I was faster. This battle was meant to happen. She was quick but I anticipated her moves , she went for my neck and I ducked then pulled her leg , my sword going to her back and she cried in pain . Three screams were heard throughout the battlefield.

Drake's, Aura and Zen . Wait Zen ???, I turned and suddenly I was kicked in the gut , and landed on hard concrete. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!. The pain I felt was really death on earth.

Then I looked and suddenly I stared  at the dead body beside me , Zen .  What's happening . Then I saw Lucifer , he was out of the chains and the fire was extinguished .

" You see Bruce , you belong to me , my asset forever". I pierced my hand dagger in his chest as he dashed after me in anger.
