Chapter sixty five :.  Bruce's reawakening

Bruce Linus POV

I felt the whole world haze , my mind was foggy, the waves moved up and down . The only thought on my mind was Linda .  I finally opened my eyes and I saw Marcus fighting a demon that was advancing my way . He seemed to finally look at me and sigh in relief.

" Get up". He stretched out his hand and I took it , suddenly I finally noticed my surroundings, we were at war , the end time of my vision.

" What's happening??" I asked . " We're at war as you can see and --". He pauses as a trio of demons came our way and I drew my daggers and slashed there heads in a swift move , he looked at me surprised. " Being under their control and gaining extra power must have taken a toll on you". He spoke and I nodded as I felt my injuries start to heal.

" What's up on our plate, well Linda fighting Nyx and Delilah, the siren . Vorgath and me going for Lucifer, Dimitri a distraction for Azazel --". He stopped talking and I looked at where his eyes were focused on , Azazel was bringing Dimitri down in flames.

" Let's help him " I mutter and dash toward them .

Dimitri screamed as I lunged towards Azazel, in a fit I released some kinda water and it quenched it , I don't know when I had it before, it looked my powers are now instinctual no longer with spells or grimoire . I have changed since the last time , being under some else's control has its ways of killing you and then rebuilding you into what they want you to become. " Bruce !!!". Azazel spoke and I didn't give anyone time to think I got my blades out and dashed around him as I slashed and tortured his weak points. He fell but rose , he punched me and I fell , suddenly I started to feel dizzy , I looked at my body but it was just a punch or ......

" It's the toxin" Marcus muttered and hit Azazel in the face but he ran and jumped and levitated up and started muttering spells and we were burning, we were on fire .

" Hellish fire ". I heard only that word

My body twisted and burned, I felt the world coming to an end .

Suddenly I heard a scream, Linda !!!!!!!!!!. I recognize her voice anywhere, I turned my neck despite the pain and saw Nyx punching her and using blades to pierce her skin as she scream I felt like dying, as she screamed I felt like running to help her . It was a dilemma indeed, suddenly I was pulled by a force ,  it wasn't Azazel but Lucifer, I saw Vorgath in the ground clutching his stomach, wasn't he suppose to kill Lucifer, at least weaken him for us to strike, what happened ??. The screams of humans filled my ears .

" LET THERE BE CARNAGE!!!!".  The might voice of Lucifer shouted and the ground shook at it's intensity.

" Monsters!!!!!!!!!!".

" MONSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"  Demons !!!!!!!"  

" The end time has come ".  They ran but couldn't get far as demons killed and they were slaughtered, only few of them were able toe escape .  My face was turned and I was face to face with the devil , Satan, Lucifer himself, his cold gaze pierced me but I didn't shake .

" You owe me " he lived out

" I owe you nothing". I spat in his face

" From the day , you became my servant, my apprentice, you became under my control ever since you agreed, I am your master " he spoke and  then turned as I felt my heart beat drop .

" What's happening to me ??" I screamed internally as I felt my pulse drop .

" A pet needs to be taught a lesson". Suddenly I saw Linda being held my a whip and I almost died on the spot .  Then I saw Demetrius he was held my a group of demons , he was covered in blood but it wasn't his , he was able to kill who ???? Then I saw Azazel and I saw him call on someone.

". Fright". He called out then Demetrius spoke . " I finally killed that bastard, all well and good ". He spoke and Azazel rushed to him but Lucifer stopped him .

" Patience is a tool of a great king ". He spoke

" And that will be your downfall". That voice , she's still breathing, Linda my love .

Our Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thought that ran through my mind .

Drake Chicago POV

Suddenly she pushed me , I couldn't fight her , she is my mate , the hurt I felt when I saw her eyes flicker back to black , soulless and lifeless, with that she punched again and I swear my bruises were enormous.  Suddenly  she dragged me and I then saw my comrades, Linda barely breathing, Vorgath clutching his stomach, Demetrius being held by a group of demons, Marcus kneeling, Ophelia and Quin fighting but they were being suppressed with no help they were then captured.  Zen looked frantic, he had turned wild and just went killing, he killed anyone in his path, Jennifer had been captured by a siren , she looked familiar...........then who was the most surprising of all Bruce was awake and not under the influence of Lucifer but he looked half dead .

" The hybrid finally decided to join ". That voice seemed to kill me .

A/N :   LET THERE BE CARNAGE!!!!".  The might voice of Lucifer shouted and the ground shook at it's intensity.

That seemed to remind me of one of.my favorite movies. VENOM 2 - Leet there be Carnage. I know I love it , anyway so the book isn't ending as I planned, this battle is a long and ferocious one and maybe the book will end at seventy but who cares when it ends, the journey is one I love .
