Chapter fifty six :. A touch of war

Nyx's POV

The girl sat in a corner holding her blades by her side , I knew she was a rebellious one but she is needed in the war , taught by the samurai's just as father had  predicted , no one is a step ahead of the king of darkness.

" My Queen, the cauldron is ready " A servant spoke .  I have dominion over these petty creatures and then I took Delilah's pearl form my fingers and dropped it on the ground as it broke , immerse power reached and suddenly I felt a tsunami on earth , they had arrived.

" Let me go ". She struggled as my men pushed her in the table , she was chained and prepared to be docile , she will become one with the dark side.

" You know deary I never liked angels " I spoke up as I marked her forehead with the cauldron.

" A touch of blood " I spoke as I dipped my hands in fresh demon blood and let a drop fall on her forehead as it disintegrated right before my eyes into her blood

" A whiff of a hound ". I spoke as I mixed a hounds blood on her head

" A sprinkle of silver " I smiled as the liquid burned through her forehead as she squirmed around then I added the silver dust and her scream could be heard all throughout the earth

" A touch of death ". I smiled as I I filled her with a dark force as she screamed out loud.

Then she fainted.

" Hybrids?" I remark in disgust

" Once she wakes up , she will be ours " I spoke as brother appeared

" Can the druid leave now , whatever spell you cast can be lifted right". He spoke all at once

" Wait you want me to let him go, father is against that , we need him !!" I spoke again

" How about her ??". He pointed to the hybrid

" She's also needed"

" But I need, never mind ". He spoke, he's thoughts were opened for a second and I saw Linda, he loves her , he...... ARGH, he met her..... that worthless demon .

" Don't tell me you slept with that treacherous wretch of a mate , I never knew that bitch was your mate until the day I confronted her and she binded me ".  I spoke with venom as my tone was at it's highest.

" She has to die". I voiced out

" No she isn't, if she dies , I die too ". He faced me and his face was hard as bricks

" Very well then , I'll find a way , but be warned brother, there are lots of ways to kill a bond ". I disappeared.

My next task , breaking a mate bond, the one of my twin .

Demetrius Craft POV

" WHAT !!!!, no way you're going, you're pregnant and about to deliver any time from now ". I spoke as Zena dm Dimitri agreed

" Yes mum ,you need to stay here with us , in the castle and not charging off to battle or journey into a place of no return, if I must I'll go " Lewis spoke

" The boy spoke like a true warrior " -Zen

" No way,  I'm going, Nyx will come after me". - Linda added

I can't let my best friend do this .
". But --". I persisted

" No Demetrius, it's my fight as it is yours ". She spoke and held her pregnant bump , she would deliver a week from now , any day from now , I fear for her .

". Since we can't persuade her , she will go but under one condition, someone would follow you ".  Dimitri spoke

" Who would be so righteous for the task at hand  ??". I asked

" I will go ". Ophelia stepped forward, it fits since I'll be needed in battle, so will Marcus, Drake, Dimitri, Zen , Quin and Lewis . Ophelia is new in her magic but she'll do well I believe.

" Protect her " I whispered in Ophelia's ear as she nodded and then they disappeared.

" So what the next step " Drake asked , he's been anxious ever since he didn't see his mate .

" We go get them".  I spoke

" No, not yet , if we attack now , we don't know the number of forces , in the mean time , we sharpen our weapons , sharpen our skills ,all of yeah and Marcus any thing you learnt on your trip --". Dimitri spoke up with a frowned face and then paused and gave Marcus a look

" Yes , the Samurai's gave us a key to this war and I'm sad and glad, sad that I didn't share it as a team with my fellow mark mate and glad this might change the tide of the war in our favour". He's words were heavy and full of sadness and at the same time determination, two things I respected.

" What's it ??". Drake asked as everyone looked up in helplessness and interest.

" The prophecy tells ". remember the Queen of night will join forces with the Lord of lies , the demons of the underworld shall rise , make haste for the dawn of war of fast approaching, a new terror will arise , she will come for the one with a child , he who rules darkness has an heir beware , between their ranks is a traitor he has no fear , on the day of war one of yours will fight against you , one will die ".  He spoke as his words hanged in the air , heavy silence filled us .  ". Each piece must be analyzed critically and I think Dimitri would like the honour ".  Marcus proposed

" Galdly, but we must make haste , for the dawn of war is fast approaching ". - Dimitri's words were grave
