Chapter thirty two:. The warrior

Ophelia Valdez POV

I am in the dungeon, in the cell, locked away by my wicked mother , who wants to rule the supernatural race .

". Daughter what can't you just see the truth , us , our power together, not Ophelia Valdez but as Leonora Hemlock".  She emerged from the shadows.

". Never, I want to know who I really am , my real name , what I am, who ???, you have never been the ideal mother , you were nothing but a heartless queen ". I screamed

" You want to know , well then Lord Quin offered me better bounty , a better life , a title, something your father couldn't, all I needed to do was help him master dark magic , the dark arts, what did I have to lose ". She laughed

" You are a wicked mother ". I screamed

" Shut your mouth you spoilt child ". She slapped me and I felt my whole world spin , my thoughts went to Marcus as I blacked out .

Marcus Reese POV

" Focus ".  Dave, the warrior kept telling Aura as her arrow kept missing the target.

". I can't, I need my mate ". She shouted

" Focus is ". Dave shouted again

" You can't be in the battle field without a weapon, you can't always rely on magic " he quoted and I believe true .

" Fine " she groaned while I laughed

I passed every single test, I had great swordsmanship, great accuracy with the bow , fast reflexes , speed , yes I had it , already passed all the faces but I couldn't keep up with his swordsmanship , he was too fast but in fair I did good .

Aura not so much

Well I was trained and raised in Dragons keep , the best training there is .

" Why can't I get this right". She had almost hit the target but two inches before the arrow went flying into a tree .

" Your mind is clouded ,, what are you thinking that's stressing you ". Dave asked as he picked up a bow and an arrow

" Well my mate ,I miss him ,I feel void of my heart , maybe Atlantica is playing games with me " she lamented.

" Breath in , would your mate want you to died here?" He asked and she shook her head in a no

" So you better get up , Atlantica, doesn't let the chosen one out of it , if they are not ready, it's the world of primal illusions ".  Dave said

" So I have to be -". She paused

" Focused  if you wanna see your mate  , so better let your mate be your strong hold  than your set back " He encouraged

As she got up , she drew her arrow and then as she drew her bow , Dave and her together, it hit bullseye .

TWO WEEKS LATER

" Again ". His voice rang

We been on it , blade after blade , metals clanking.

Aura has gotten better but lacks focus , it's a fifty - fifty win

Me and Aura are sparring with daggers , she's good with a dagger then a sword while me am sloppy, swords are better there are my special weapons.

" Stay focused Marcus, she so right in front of your , brace yourself, move , your got reflexes use it , follow her moves " his voice rang out and it had  me square down

He was right, I kept anticipating her next move and I was always wrong , but now I see it , one step forward, two steps back , daggers at the forearms, once I move back , two steps forward one step back .  It's a pattern .

With all my analysing, I didn't realize that I had given Aura the opportunity to clear me out of the ring , as I got a punch in my stomach and a kick in the chest .

OUCH!!!!!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!..

As she pushed me as I get up to brace myself, she lands a solid kick in my knees

Seriously????

Then I fall on the floor with a dagger in my throat

" I win " she smiles victoriously

" Rematch ". I say as she gets up from my body and hands me an adm which I took and got up .

" You got skill Aura am impressed". I say

" And just a week ago , you were afraid of a punch , now you take em without care , it just took a little push eh ".  Dave said and she smiles

" What do I say I meant fast ".   She repeats and we smile

" Rematch ".  I quickly say and I rush to her as she was unprepared but suddenly meets me head-on

She puts her blades against mine .  A clash could be heard

I tumble backwards as her blade was about to hit my ribcage, I strike back and strike hard as I toss her in her stomach, which she left u protected and punch her but she suddenly pits a blade up my neck as I put one on hers .

I shift back , as she immediately kicked me where the sun don't shine and God !!! that was ouch !!!!! but she didn't kick that hard

I got unbalanced and leaped backwards as we rush towards each other, with the force of a thousand storms , my whole body was on fire .

As I glided to avoid her blade , I tumbled backwards and landed on my feet just in time and jumped at her incoming blade meant for my back landed on the floor and made the loudest screech . She quickly regained her composure and came to me like a charging bull......

I soon sung my blade at an  angle, as it spin in the air , she was caught off guard and I struck as I kicked her in the shoulder .

♥️♥️Hope all y'all are excited , I know this chapter must have been a blur, I wanted to focus more on Aura and Marcus training........

The seventh samurai, the historical legend in the book , they will all come around , we need to know and most of all the most powerful samurai the death walker..💀☠️

I know all of you wanna get a devil's POV soon and yes in the next chapter

Also after that we are gonna get to see the rise of the fallen army ...

So what do you think of the training base , the primal illusions world Atlantica ..

I know right , it sounds sea like but it's perfect, there are gonna be there for few months , no long though.

I know you guys didn't like it that Ophelia was taken , and yes , some of you may or may not have guessed it but she is needs it , she needs to know what Margery has been keeping form her ...
And I know her POV is short , but don't worry ,not for long .
