Chapter fifty one :  A soul's skeleton

Quin Valdez POV

I felt welcomed, I heard from Demetrius that Drake was able to reconnect with his mate , at least something is going well , back to our plan , we are getting ready to visit Linda's former soul .....the one that left when she was reborn. We need to know how she had connection with Azazel.

Since she won't tell is , we will find out ourselves, secrets stinks , well everyone does have a skeleton on their cupboard, I know I do.

Zen behind me , I can't believe Dimitri let me go with this guy , from the past we've had, I don't anyway, Demetrius didn't know of this because if he knew , he would go feral , she is his best friend, , so we would just go . So Dimitri stayed to keep the fort in check only Zen came with me .

We came to an empty field , I can feel , a dragon died here , well we need it .

I started meditating with Zen looking at me as if I was crazy , at least I can accept that look from him .

Finally I got I , a roar sounded and Zen fell to the ground as the might strom dragon rose , dead but alive , looking behind I see a shocked Zen , he was speechless as the Storm dragon rose , this time I drilled all my powers into it , bring it back to life , they are consequences for bringing things back to life but my soul is already half dead so consequences don't apply to me, it's black scales coming back to life , it called to me and I answered.

" Obsidian " it's rough voice entered my head as it introduced itself and I nodded.

" Welcome back old friend " I patted it's snout and claimed aboard , as Zen still liked dumbfounded  I need to do something about that.

". Zen come aboard". I called out

" Not on a dragon, you fucking idiot, you want to get me killed " he screamed out

" It's the only one that knows the underworld, dragons were here long before us and this storm dragon is the only on who knows the way , only it can pass through the rift ".  I explained

" You know where we are going to is hell right??".  Zen spilled

" Well not exactly, not where Lucifer's domain is , the underworld is the outskirts of hell , we really don't need to conjure a rift and break a seal , too much waste of power , so the storm dragon will take us there ". I explained

It's true , Hell is Lucifer's domain , once a soul enters there he can decide what to do with them , as for the underworld that's the outskirts of Hell, we are at risk if we go but with this dragon , we can go there silently without attracting two much noise , also Linda's former soul will be in the outskirts, that where demons go when they are reborn.

" Hop on Zen ". I shouted , we were running out of time .

" Fine but if I get eaten --". He pauses

" I'll bring your soul back , I promise ". I swore and he finally claimed on

" He smells of the dead " Obsidian's voice rang in my head .

This is gonna be one hell of a journey.........

Dimitri Black POV

The calming waters of the Pacific, i meditate . Suddenly someone tapped me I turned around and saw Linda .

" Dimitri have you seen Quin ??". She asks

" No I haven't , why do you ask ".

" I was going to see if he can take me to Azazel, I need to speak to him ". She said

" What's going on between you and Azazel " I asked

" Nothing Dimitri I just need the see him " she replied

" Why can't you go by yourself" I asked again

" I need him to relay a message for me to Azazel , but nevermind I know where he would find me " She said and disappeared

I really need to follow her , what going on with Linda these days , were she and Azazel lovers ??

Zen Blade POV

The clouds became darker the higher the storm dragon went , suddenly there was a volcano in front of us , we passed it then suddenly the sky's became pitch black , they was then a line , we flew straight at it , then suddenly we disappeared , everywhere changed  we were no longer in earth , we were in the underworld.

" We are here ". A gruff voice belonging to someone said and I turned to Quin

" O!!, that's Obsidian, the Storm dragon ".  He said like it's the most obvious thing ever .

It landed on the hard ground and we got off .

I could see figures move in a distance. I saw Quin nod to the ferocious beast as the creature snarled at me as I walked away .

" Come one there's a lot to cover " Quin walked passed me

" What did it say ". I question

" O!!, nothing, it doesn't like you though". Quin spoke

" Well , I don't like both of you ". I added

" I don't get it , what did I do now , I apologized, but still".  Quin dropped his hands dramatically

" Well I still haven't had the heart to forgive you , is this where vampires go when they die too". I ask

" Well,  if they are able to escape Lucifer , all creatures that's their fate is uncertain stays here , that include demons, but those that their fate is certain , heaven or hell, - Quin spoke solemnly.
