Reyansh pov
The morning sun streamed through the window, casting long shadows across the room. I finished my workout, the sweat cooling on my skin as I sipped on a protein shake. The gym had been my sanctuary, a place to clear my head and focus my energy.
I headed to the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day. I chose a sharp suit, a symbol of the professional I had become. As I was about to leave the house, I heard my mother's voice, a familiar warmth cutting through the morning's crisp air.
M-" Reyansh beta, are you leaving without having breakfast?"
R-" Haan maa, I have some urgent work to finish and meetings later "
M-" That's not good enough excuse for you to skip your most important meal of the day"
M-"Now come have something and only then I'll let you leave"
I could close deals worth millions with a single handshake, but when it came to my mother, I was a helpless lamb. Her word was law, an unwavering decree that I couldn't dare to defy. I respected her, admired her wisdom, and knew she had my best interests at heart.
She'd raised me with love and discipline, shaping me into the man I was today. Her guidance had been invaluable, steering me through life's challenges and triumphs. And though I'd grown into a powerful figure in the business world, I still felt a pang of nervousness when she'd look at me with that knowing glint in her eye. It was a reminder of the unconditional love and unwavering support that she'd always offered, a bond that transcended the hierarchies of the corporate world.
" How's your work going on beta?" Papa asks as I sit on the dining table
" It's going good papa , in fact we are very close to finalising an important deal." I tell him.
" Tell me if you need help okay? I'm always here for you" he assures me and pats my shoulders.
My father began his journey with a humble shop, a testament to his relentless determination. Alongside my mother, he poured his heart and soul into building the company, sacrificing countless hours to provide a comfortable life for our family. Their unwavering dedication, their tireless work ethic, has always been a source of inspiration for me.
Now, it's my turn to carry the torch. I'm committed to taking the company to new heights, expanding our reach and solidifying our position in the market. Every decision I make, every risk I take, is driven by the desire to honor their legacy. I want to make them proud, to show them that their sacrifices have not been in vain.
" Good morning everyone"
I turn around to see my sister Aahana , who has just woken up.
"Good morning, Aahana," I say, trying to sound cheerful despite the early hour. "How did your studies go last night?"
She yawns and stretches, her eyes still heavy with sleep. "It was alright," she replies, her voice muffled. "I finished that chapter on taxation, but I'm still struggling with the concepts.""Don't worry," I reassure her. "We can go over it together later. Maybe a fresh pair of eyes will help."
"Thanks," she says, a small smile appearing on her face. "I really appreciate it."
