Reyansh pov

As Reyansh arrived home, the date with Aadya played on loop in his mind. He thought about how easily they connected, their shared laughter and comfortable silences.  He was surprised by how much he enjoyed her company and how eager he was to see her again.  He had a feeling this could be something special.
Reyansh quietly slipped into his home, the late hour ensuring his parents were already asleep. He tiptoed to his room, eager to relive the day's events in the quiet solitude. A sense of contentment washed over him as he recalled the delightful evening he'd spent with Aadya.

Every shared laugh, every thoughtful conversation, and every stolen glance had left an indelible mark on his heart. As he settled into his bed, he couldn't help but smile, the memory of her warmth and kindness still lingering in his mind. With a contented sigh, he drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the future and the possibilities it held with Aadya by his side.

The morning sun streamed through the kitchen window, casting a warm glow on the breakfast table. Reyansh, still drowsy from sleep, sat down, his parents already engrossed in conversation. As he poured himself a cup of coffee, he couldn't shake the lingering warmth of the previous evening.

"So, young man," his father began, a twinkle in his eye, "tell us all about your date with Aadya. How did it go?"

Reyansh blushed, a smile spreading across his face. "It was amazing, Dad. We had dinner at that new Italian place downtown. The food was incredible, and we talked for hours. She's so smart and funny. We are really connected."

His mother, a soft smile on her lips, interjected, "And what did you talk about?"
"Oh, everything and nothing," Reyansh replied. "We talked about our favorite books, movies, and music. We even discussed our future plans and dreams. It was like we'd known each other for years."

His parents exchanged knowing glances. "It sounds like you two have a lot in common," his father remarked. "You seem very happy, son."
Reyansh nodded, his heart full of joy. "I am, Dad. I really like her. She's kind, understanding, and beautiful both inside and out."

His mother reached across the table and patted his hand. "We're glad you're happy, Reyansh. Just remember to take things slow and enjoy the journey."

Reyansh smiled gratefully. "I will, Mom. Thanks for understanding."

As they finished their breakfast, Reyansh couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for what the future held. With Aadya by his side, he knew that anything was possible.

Dad looked at me, his eyes filled with a knowing glint. "So, Reyansh, now that you've spent some time with Aadya, have you given any more thought to our proposal?"

I paused, my heart pounding. This was it. The moment of truth. "Dad, I appreciate your patience. But I think I've found someone special. Someone who truly understands me."

His eyebrows furrowed, a hint of surprise in his eyes. "And who might that be?"
"It's Aadya, Dad. We share a deep connection, and I see a future with her."

A long silence followed. I could feel his gaze on me, analyzing my words. Finally, he spoke. "I see. Well, I suppose it's time to give the Mishras a definitive answer."

Relief washed over me. "Yes, Dad. I'm ready to take the next step with Aadya."

Mom's eyes lit up with joy as I shared the news about Aadya and me. "I'm so happy for you, Reyansh," she exclaimed, her voice filled with warmth. "Aadya is such a wonderful girl. I can see how happy she makes you."
