A/n: Back after long break from the wedding, and I have sore throat from all the madness. Anyways I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Aadya pov
The sunlight streamed through her window, painting stripes across her bedroom floor. Aadya traced the lines with her finger, lost in thought. Reyansh. The name, once unfamiliar, now held a comforting weight.
Their initial meetings had been a tentative dance, a careful exploration of each other's worlds. But with each conversation, a genuine connection had bloomed. They'd spent hours discussing their shared love for old movies, debating the merits of different cuisines, and discovering unexpected common ground in their passion for hiking.
His respect for her opinions, her boundaries, had impressed her deeply. He never tried to sway her, always valuing her perspective, even when they disagreed. And his kindness, his genuine concern for her happiness, shone through in every interaction.
A soft smile touched her lips. The butterflies in her stomach had transformed into a warm flutter of excitement. Perhaps, just perhaps, this was the beginning of a beautiful love story.
The thought of telling her parents, "Yes, I'm ready to take this step with Reyansh," filled her with quiet joy.It wasn't just an agreement to an arranged marriage; it was a conscious choice, a step towards a future with someone she genuinely liked and respected.
The air in the living room was thick with anticipation. My heart pounded a frantic rhythm against my ribs as I sat opposite my parents. Their faces, usually etched with worry lines, now held a hopeful glow.
"Mom, Dad," I began, my voice a little shaky, "I've given it a lot of thought..."
They leaned forward, their eyes fixed on me, mirroring the intensity of my own emotions.
"...and I've decided to say yes to Reyansh."
A wave of relief, so palpable it almost vibrated in the air, washed over their faces. My mother's eyes welled up, and a single tear escaped, tracing a path down her cheek. My father beamed, his hand reaching out to clasp mine, his grip firm yet gentle.
"We're so happy, Aadya!" my mother exclaimed, her voice choked with emotion. "We knew you'd make the right decision."
I smiled, a genuine warmth spreading through me, chasing away the last vestiges of apprehension. "I think I have too, Mom. Reyansh... he's a good man. Kind, considerate, and he makes me happy."My father chuckled, a deep, resonant sound that filled the room. "We've always known you'd find someone special, beta. We're proud of you."
I felt a surge of affection for my parents, their unwavering support a constant source of strength. They had always encouraged my independence, my dreams, while gently guiding me towards a fulfilling life.As we talked, a sense of peace settled over me. This wasn't just an agreement to an arranged marriage; it was a step towards a future with someone I genuinely liked and respected. A future filled with promise, with love, with the support of my loving family.
The weight of uncertainty that had been looming over me for weeks finally lifted, replaced by a quiet joy, a sense of excitement for the journey that lay ahead. I envisioned a future where laughter mingled with shared dreams, where challenges were faced together, and where love blossomed with each passing day.
As I looked at my parents, their faces radiating with happiness, I realized that this wasn't just a decision; it was the start of a new chapter, a chapter filled with love, family, and the promise of a beautiful future.
Aadya's father calls Mr Singh to inform him that aadya agrees to marry reyansh
The phone rang, and Mr. Singh answered, his voice warm and welcoming. "Hello?"
"Hello Mr. Singh, it's Mr. Mishra," came the familiar voice on the other end. "I'm calling to share some good news."
Mr. Singh's heart skipped a beat. "What is it, Mr. Mishra?"
"Aadya has agreed to the marriage proposal," Mr. Mishra announced, his voice filled with excitement. "We're both thrilled."
Mr. Singh's face lit up with a smile. "That's wonderful news! We're so happy for both of them."
"Aadya is too," Mr. Mishra continued. "She's excited to start this new chapter in her life."
Mr. Singh chuckled. "I'm sure she is. I'm looking forward to meeting her again soon."
"We are too," Mr. Mishra replied. "Perhaps we can schedule a meeting to discuss the next steps?"
"Absolutely," Mr. Singh agreed. "How about we meet next week?"
"That sounds perfect," Mr. Mishra said. "I'll let you know the time."
"Thank you, Mr. Mishra. We're very much looking forward to it."
"Thank you, Mr. Singh. We are too."I rushed to my room, my heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. I picked up my phone, the number of my best friend Ruhanika already dialed.
"Hey Roohhh!" I exclaimed as soon as the call connected. "Guess what?"
Ruhanika's voice, filled with curiosity, greeted me from the other end. "What's up, Adya? Spill it!"
"I'm getting married!" I blurted out, the words tumbling out of my mouth before I could fully process them.
Ruhanika gasped in surprise. "Wait, what? You're getting married? Are you sure?"
I smiled, the weight of my decision lifting slightly. "Yes, Ruhanika. I'm sure. I'm getting married to Reyansh."
Ruhanika squealed in delight. "Oh my gosh, Adya! That's amazing news! I'm so happy for you!"
I couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm. "Thanks, Ruhanika. I'm really happy too."
"So, tell me everything!" Ruhanika demanded, her voice filled with excitement. "How did it happen? When's the wedding?"I proceeded to tell her everything, from my initial hesitation to the growing connection I felt with Reyansh. Ruhanika listened intently, her eyes wide with wonder.
"You two sound so perfect together," Ruhanika gushed when I finished my story. "I'm so happy for you, Adya. You deserve all the happiness in the world."
My heart swelled with gratitude. "Thank you, Ruhanika. You mean so much to me."
We spent the next hour chatting, our voices filled with excitement and joy. I couldn't believe that I was finally getting married, and I was thrilled to share the news with my best friend.Moonlight streamed through my window, casting long shadows across the room. I lay in bed, unable to sleep, my mind replaying the events of the day. The decision to marry Reyansh still felt surreal, a dream slowly taking shape.
I thought about his smile, the way he listened intently, how he made me feel seen and valued. I imagined our future together – quiet evenings, weekend adventures, building a home filled with love and laughter.
A wave of warmth washed over me. This wasn't just an arranged marriage; it was a potential partnership with someone I truly liked. Someone who made me laugh, who challenged me, and who supported my dreams.
A soft smile touched my lips. This was the beginning of a new chapter, a chapter filled with excitement and the promise of a beautiful future.
My heart skipped a beat as I glanced at my phone. A notification popped up on Instagram: "Reyansh Singh followed you."
My breath hitched. Reyansh. On Instagram.
A wave of excitement washed over me. It was a small gesture, a subtle acknowledgment of our connection in the digital world. Suddenly, the distance between us seemed to shrink, the lines blurring between the real and the virtual.
I quickly checked his profile. It was a simple account, mostly photos of nature and his travels. There was a glimpse of his personality in the captions – a love for adventure, a keen eye for beauty, a quiet sense of humor.
A smile touched my lips. This unexpected connection added a playful dimension to our budding relationship. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot. It felt like a secret shared between us, a bridge connecting our offline and online worlds.
I hesitated, then decided to follow him back. As soon as I clicked "Follow," a notification popped up: "Reyansh Singh started following you back."
My heart fluttered. This was exciting. This was new. This was the beginning of something special. With a happy sigh, I put my phone down and leaned back against my pillow. The moonlight streamed through my window, casting long shadows across the room. But tonight, the shadows seemed to hold a hint of excitement, a promise of a future filled with joy and adventure.
I drifted off to sleep, a gentle smile gracing my lips, holding onto the image of his smile and the hope of a future filled with love and happiness.
