The Single Life of The British Bombshell

Oh man, we did it!! We made a year my luvs and it didn't even seem like it. Everything just moved so flawlessly with us and it's truly been a great year!! I can't wait for many more years to come moving forward but before we push ahead, let me tell you how we celebrated this one!!

We met Friday night, which was actually one day before our anniversary. We had to though because he was going away and I would be too so the Friday made the most sense. As usual, I got there a bit earlier and found us free parking!! I love doing that btw.. And he loves it too.

Anyway, once he got there I put my heels on, finished putting stuff in the trunk and walked over to his car. The moment my car door opened and he saw my outfit his jaw dropped. I was ecstatic because I knew my dress had done its job, Haha. I brought his gifts over to him and told him to wait before he opened anything. I then got into the car and we had a few sweet kisses.

Next came the gifts!! I gave him the first one and he opened it like a curious kid on Christmas Eve. I couldn't stop smiling because I just knew he'd love it and he did!! He couldn't believe him I got him the blue blazer that he had mentioned in a passing conversation. He said he loved it and couldn't stop smiling. I told him I couldn't wait to see how it looked on him. He said him either and I told him to make sure he takes a pic of it for me, to which he agreed. Next was time for him to open his card. He smiled when he read it. I remember writing it, it was a cute, sweet and fun one. We kissed and he gave me my gift next. I knew it was jewelry from the small boxes but I didn't know what. I opened it and it was two Ruby earrings and a Ruby necklace. Soooooo beautiful and then to top it off, his card was so thoughtful and sweet. He said the top 5 things he loved about me and also listed our top favorite dates. I agreed with his lists and kissed him again and again because his words truly touched me. Especially the part where he said I came into his life at the perfect time. And that he loves me and always will!! What girl doesn't want to hear that from the man of her dreams!! I thanked him again and then it was on to the main attraction that he had no idea about.

I handed him the next gift but told him to open the card first. He said, card? and I said yes. He looked at it and saw that it was addressed to his brother that passed away last year. He took a deep breath and said wow. He began to read my words and was in a trance. He was visibly overcome with emotion and said he couldn't believe I did that. I told him I never got to meet him but I wanted to introduce myself and just tell him a bit about me being that I plan on being in his life for a while. He then opened the final gift which was a box for him to put all the greeting cards he writes and will write to his brother over the years. He was so thankful and kissed me. We held each other for a bit and also worked together to put the box together. Once we were done we talked for a bit and then head over to the comedy show!! The night had already started off great and it only got better!!!

The host of the show was hilarious. She cracked on various people in the audience! I thought for a moment she would get us but then realized that she probably couldn't see us. Either way we loved it and we're cracking up. She was a great host and then the comedians were pretty good too. The Best comedian by far though was the headliner, and he really got us when he said the joke about the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. He asked, where's the booster for that? and we immediately started dying because I had literally been saying that to my boyfriend when we talked about me getting the booster. I mean he had even asked his doctor about it for me and now the comedian, who had also taken Johnson and Johnson, was joking about that exact thing!!! Sooooo me and the comedian are the few people left after taking the Johnson and Johnson vaccine and booster and now I have to automatically switch up to Pfizer...What's up with that? SMH!! haha.

Anyway, after the comedy show we took a walk over to the restaurant and had a pretty good meal. From there we went back to his car and jammed out to some music while acting stupid and just being us!! All in all, it was a great date and we both left missing one another and ready for our staycation coming up in a few weeks so we can really celebrate!! Coming soon!! But until then, I'm about to head to LA to be on a network show!! So XOXO Bombshell literally out!!
