The Single Life of The British Bombshell

Ok luvs, we're back!!

Continuing on from the last episode, we had just finished being freaky with one another Haha and it was time to move on to our next activity....

I wanted him to see how my foot massager was. It was one of the gifts I got from my parents and I figured it would be perfect to soothe his feet being that he wasn't feeling that well. He said he liked it but the tension was a bit strong. I told him that I'm sure it can be lessened but I'm still figuring out how to work it so I'm not sure how to do that yet. He said it wasn't a problem and that he still liked it either way. I was happy to hear that cause I figured he can get some use out of it in the future when he comes over again.

We finished frolicking upstairs and head down to watch another one of my shows. This time it was wheel of fortune and as he played on his phone while watching, I tried to guess the puzzles. I didn't do half bad either and he told me I was pretty good at it. I told him I always do much better when I'm not actually under pressure but that I would love to go on the show in the future and win. Who knows if I'll get picked again, but I'll definitely submit.

After that we were pretty hungry and ready for dinner. We originally planned to go to Sonic but being that it was New Year's Eve and they hadn't picked up the phone all night, we suspected that they might not be open or would close super early. The latter was correct because we got there and had one car in front of us. They made them wait for a while and then when we go up to the microphone to order, they said they were closed. We didn't even stress it because prior to us going, I told him that McDonald's would be our back up. It was a great one too!! We ordered quarter pounder meals with milkshakes. I couldn't stop sipping on my strawberry milkshake because it was soooo good and I protested and asked him for my fries so I could eat them while driving because MCd fries are never the same after they've gone cold. He obliged and gave them to me but waited until he got home to eat his. He heated everything up and then came to sit down by me and eat. We started our final movie for the weekend and settled in.

"A Good Person"..It was a really good movie and this time we joked and called Morgan Freeman my dad because he reminds us of him. This movie was pretty intense. It started off with a young couple who's in love and has everything going for them only for a tragic accident to take it all away. The main actress did a phenomenal job with becoming different versions of herself while trying to get back to the person she needed to be. There were literally times where she didn't even seem like the same person. Throughout the entire movie, she's trying to forgive herself for what she did and she's also in denial which causes her to go down a terrible path of drugs and depression. Morgan Freeman also had past addictions and ends up going down a negative path as well. There were some unexpected connections between the cast members and even times where you wondered if the main character would ever get it together and get back with her one true love. It just seemed that there were so many issues between them that they may not be able to. I won't spoil the ending and tell you everything that transpires, but just know that this movie takes you through a series of twists and turns and leaves you hanging on the edge throughout. We really liked it and rated it as 4.5/5. It is a definite must see because it gives a realistic representation of life and how sometimes it's not always fair.

Once the movie was over, we knew we had about an hr and a half before the New Year hit so we turned the TV on to ABC to see all the Times Square activities and get ready for the countdown. The signal kept freezing but the time moved on and before you knew it, we were saying "Happy New Year" To one another and calling our family. My parents were sooooo overjoyed and after when he commented on it to me I told him that's how my family is. We're grateful to make it to a New Year so it's a big deal for us. I told him how grateful I was to have him with me, sharing the moment and he said that I'm hands down, one of the best things that's ever happened to him. I couldn't stop blushing and kissed him! We also had a cute, sit down dance we did while in the moment of celebrating and it was just perfect. We tried to call his mum but she didn't answer. I told him that she was probably asleep and he agreed but I could tell he was a bit concerned being that she was by herself. I reassured him that she was ok and then maybe half an hr later, she called us back and said she had fallen asleep. He seemed much more comfortable after hearing her voice and we spoke for a bit before she went back to sleep. The night was great, and I couldn't stop thinking about how lucky I was to have found him. I made sure to tell him multiple times because I feel it's important to let the people you love know how much you love them while they're here.

The night was going great and we continued to vibe out with one another. We turned lingo on and tried to guess the words. He was impressed by two of the contestants and asked if I thought I could be that fast. I answered with a resounding yes but that I would need another person to go on the show with me and I just don't trust my friends to follow through. Anyway, once that was done, we laid on the floor together and vibed out to some music. It felt so good relaxing with him and we didn't want it to end. We eventually decided to head upstairs to do our brain games and relax some more. He even suggested we do meditation which we did, but this time I didn't do as well because I forgot we were meditating halfway through and started moving his phone so that we wouldn't fall asleep on it. We briefly laughed and then went back to concentrating. After that we were done and fell asleep pretty quickly.

We awoke the next morning and cuddled a bit before getting ready to say goodbye. We both dreaded it because we knew the fantasy was over. The good news was that we'd see each other again in about two weeks so we knew we at least had that. We left the house and after dropping him to throw out the garbage, we kissed goodbye and he went to his car. We spoke on the phone for about half an hr to recap the weekend and say our top 5, then we wished each other good luck on the rest of our day. I had to go to work and he was heading home to get ready for work the next day. If only when he joked about staying an additional day it could've been true that would've been great but we knew we both had obligations at home we had to take care of. So the staycation was done and we had assisted in nursing each other back to good health. We made each other better and will continue to do so for the rest of our relationship. I feel blessed and on top of the world to have him in my life and I can't wait to continue making more and more memories with him. You know I'll be sure to keep you updated on them all!!
