Hey luvs!!

So tonight was our final date night before Hawaii and it was pretty cool. Didn't stand out as one of our favorites but definitely nice overall. It started with us meeting in the city. I got there first and then we realized that he went to the wrong restaurant location. He didn't freak out or anything, rather, he simply turned around and within 20 minutes he had arrived to me and even got the parking spot I was saving for him. If anything, I was a bit anxious cause I didn't want to be too late for the restaurant and then as a result be late to the karaoke place, but once I saw him pull into the spot my nerves dissipated immediately.

He got out of the car and as he was fixing himself I got to admire him. He wore brown suede dress shoes, gray dress pants, a brown dressy sweater to match his shoes, and a brown suede coat to top it all off. He looked great and I loved the coordination. I love that I have a man that knows how to dress. It's super important to me because it makes you feel proud when you're walking with them. Anyway, he came to my car so that we could exchange our gifts. Even though we were late, he said I could just call the restaurant and say we were a few minutes away. So I did just that and told them we'd be there shortly but were looking for parking.

He insisted that I open my gift and card first and I love what he had picked out. It was a new fragrance from Victoria's Secret and it smelled amazing. The card he got me was perfect and said the sweetest thing and of course he then wrote about Hawaii being in a week!!! I still can't believe it, but I'm soooooo ready for it!!

Next was his turn to open his gifts. He first tried to say that he only wanted to open his Valentines gifts but not his birthday gifts, but I insisted that he open them all. I told him that it made more sense because bringing it to Hawaii would be difficult to pack. He agreed and opened his birthday gifts first.... Black sweatpants he previously asked for and a shaver for his face. A special one that wouldn't leave any razor bumps. He asked me how I knew about it and I told him it's the same type like mine for my legs but it's the man's version. He said he can't wait to try it. He read his card and thanked me for it all. Then went on to his Valentine's gifts. Black sweat shorts, a black t-shirt and my favorite gift out of all of them... A 40 page handwritten book from me to him!! He was so happy with all his gifts but he said that the book was super thoughtful and even read a few pages before we got out of the car. I told him that when he completes it, I'd love to hear what he thinks. I don't remember what I even wrote now because I started it last month and wrote in it almost everyday, but I know every word was truthful and from the heart. I can only hope that when he reads it, he has a permanent smile on his face!!

The entire gift moment was special and even though we did it before Valentine's and his birthday it made the most sense because we're leaving for Hawaii next weekend!! We truly couldn't be more excited and you know I'm going to detail every moment.... I'm just wondering if I should put it all in one episode or write multiple ones.... What do you think?

Anyway it was finally time to head to the restaurant and when we got there we were seated immediately. I ran to the bathroom because all the water I had been drinking was ready to combust, hehe. He ordered us the mozzarella sticks and two Shirley temples. When I returned we inquired about moctails but they had already started making our drinks so he told them not to worry about it. I think that was best. The motzarella sticks were good but I originally thought this restaurant was the one with the bigger mozzarella pieces that we fell in love with, so there was a slight bit of disappointment when I saw them and they weren't, but not much. The waitress returned and we ordered our entrees. Me, shrimp scampi, and him the Zia Maria chicken breast meal. When they came, mine looked normal and tasted good but a bit too lemony or garlicky for me. His looked extremely creamy and not visually pleasing but he said it tasted good although he wouldn't get it again.

The table conversation was good and he made me super happy when he told me about the updated plan where I would come to his mum's house to sleep over with him the night before so that I wouldn't have to drive over there at 2/3am. It made so much more sense and I felt special because I'll be the first girl to sleep over his mother's home while she's there and approves!! That truly says a lot and made me feel even more included :-)

Dinner was done and we head to the karaoke place. We were about fifteen minutes earlier than our reservation time so the reservationist told us we could either stay and be seated or come back if we chose. We decided to stay and after she showed us to our table, I asked him if he wanted to sit one table up. He said he was fine where we were but allowed me to have my way being that I'm the lady, hehe. We moved up one table and I was much happier because we were away from the doorway and slightly closer to the piano player.

As patrons entered, we surveyed them to see their dress....For the most part, everyone was dressed fashionably so it made us even more comfortable being that we had dressed up for the occasion. The mood was very festive, from having a table celebrating a 60 year old birthday, to other booths with groups that seemed there to just have a good time. I really liked the vibe and even though they talked during some performances, if the signer was good and chose a popular song, the noise dissipated and the crowd joined in on the singing.

The experience level of the signers ranged from good to normal but everyone showed love after they were done and clapped. Then it was my turn to go up.... He had asked if I was nervous, but I wasn't. There's just something within me that makes me more excited to perform and entertain people more than be nervous. I love singing, and the song was both of our favorites so I sang to him :-) My song choice for the night was "Time After Time" such a classic song by Cyndi Lauper and just as expected, the crowd joined in. Besides some of them initially being intrigued by my name and realizing that I'm British, they really loved how I sang the song and so did he. I felt great and when I looked back at the footage he recorded of me, I couldn't stop smiling. That will definitely be a special moment that we'll both remember.

I got off the stage and we sat back down to continue enjoying the show. I could tell he was starting to get a bit bored and also tired, so when he showed me the time and asked to leave I said np. But then our waitress took a bit long coming back with the check and I saw other people singing a second time so I too wanted to do another song. I showed him me entering it and reluctantly he agreed... in my head I figured if they called me before they waitress came then I'd sing again, but new people started putting in song requests so that never happened. When he asked again about 25 minutes later, I said no problem and we took a nice walk back to our cars. We were both a bit tired and helped each other stay up while driving. Then after he got off the phone with me, my bestie called so that helped me stay up even more.

The night has been another success and he said that he would be willing to add it into our future Karaoke semi repeatable nights. I was happy and now I'm just looking forward to the big trip in a few days!! Hawaii, here we come!!!! Until then my luvs, XOXO Bombshell Out!!
