"what do you feel?" Jin chimed in, his eyes sparkling as he nudged Taehyung's arm.

Namjoon leaned back, watching with an amused expression, while Yoongi, true to his calm demeanor, sipped his coffee but kept his ears open.

Taehyung laughed nervously, running a hand through his hair. "It was... simple, really. We were just walking in the garden, and then he suddenly stopped and asked me." He shrugged, trying to sound casual, though the memory of Junghwon's words still lingered in his mind.

Jungkook, seated at the edge of the group, forced a smile. His heart was heavy, but he had become a master at pretending. He nodded along with everyone else, even as the conversation made him feel like he was being torn apart inside.

Junghwon wasn't one to give up easily, especially when he had a plan in mind. His confession to Taehyung might not have gone as he hoped, but that didn't deter him. He decided to play the long game-to plant the seeds of care and affection in Taehyung's heart, not because he truly loved him, but to sever the connection between Taehyung and Jungkook.

Junghwon began showing up with small gestures of kindness. He'd bring Taehyung coffee in the morning, claiming it was no trouble. He'd insist on carrying Taehyung's books, walk him to class, and even make sure Taehyung ate properly. These actions didn't go unnoticed by their group of friends, who started to believe that Junghwon's feelings for Taehyung were genuine.

"Junghwon is so sweet," Jin remarked one afternoon. "I think you should give him a chance, Tae."

"Yeah," Jimin chimed in, grinning. "He's really putting in the effort. He must care about you a lot."

Taehyung hesitated. He couldn't deny that Junghwon had been attentive and considerate, but something about it felt... off. However, with the constant encouragement from his friends, he began to think he might be overanalyzing things.

"Maybe I should," Taehyung finally said, smiling softly.

"That's so sweet!" Jimin exclaimed, clasping his hands together. "So, how do you feel about it, Tae? I mean... he's Jungkook's brother. Isn't that a bit... complicated?"

The group fell silent at Jimin's words, all eyes turning to Taehyung and Jungkook. Taehyung glanced at Jungkook, who quickly masked any trace of discomfort with a small laugh.

"Complicated?" Taehyung echoed, tilting his head. "I don't know about that. Junghwon and I have been getting closer over the past months , so it feels... natural, I guess?"

"Natural?" Yoongi raised an eyebrow. "Does that mean you like him? Like, really like him?"

Taehyung hesitated, his gaze dropping to his hands. "I dont know" he said softly. "I mean, he's kind and attentive.

Jungkook bit the inside of his cheek to keep his emotions in check. He felt as though the world was spinning around him, and he couldn't find his footing.

Jin, always the peacemaker, chimed in, "Well, it's a big step, Tae. But if it feels right, then we're happy for you."

The conversation eventually shifted to lighter topics, but the tension lingered between Taehyung and Jungkook. Later that evening, as the others left one by one, Taehyung approached Jungkook.

One evening, after practice, Taehyung approached Jungkook. "Kookie, can we talk for a minute?"

Jungkook nodded, forcing a cheerful expression. "Of course, hyung. What's up?"

Taehyung hesitated, his fingers fidgeting. "I've been thinking... about Junghwon. I know you don't like him much, but... he's been really good to me lately. And... I'm thinking about giving him a chance."
