As the golden morning light seeped through the curtains, Taehyung stirred in his sleep, instinctively reaching out for the warmth of Jungkook. His arms searched the bed, fingers brushing against the cool sheets instead of the soft body he expected. A small frown formed on his face as he slowly opened his eyes, adjusting to the morning glow. He turned his head, hoping to see Jungkook curled up beside him, but the space was empty.

Blinking in confusion, Taehyung sat up, rubbing his eyes. The memories of last night washed over him like a tide—every whisper, every touch, every promise sealed in love. His heart swelled as he realized it was their first morning as a married couple.

"Where did you go, love?" he mumbled to himself, running a hand through his messy hair. His gaze flickered towards the door left slightly ajar, the distant sound of movement catching his attention.

With a small smile, he got up, slipping on his robe before making his way downstairs. The sight before him made his heart skip a beat.

Jungkook stood in the kitchen, clad in one of Taehyung's oversized shirts that barely covered his thighs, his hair adorably messy from sleep. He was completely focused as he flipped pancakes, unaware of the pair of loving eyes watching him from a distance.

Taehyung's lips curled into a giddy smile, his heart fluttering wildly. He was used to being the one who woke up first to make breakfast, but today, Jungkook had taken that role. And the thought of his wife —his wife —doing something so simple yet intimate for him made his chest feel impossibly warm.

Taehyung leaned against the doorway, arms crossed over his chest, a fond smile playing on his lips. "Look at my wifey, making breakfast like an angel."

Jungkook yelped in surprise, nearly dropping the spatula. He turned around, clutching his chest dramatically. "Tae! You scared me."

Taehyung chuckled, pushing himself off the doorframe as he walked toward Jungkook. Without a word, he wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist from behind, burying his face in the crook of his neck. "Mmm... you smell like home."

Jungkook's cheeks flushed as he tried to focus on cooking, but Taehyung's warmth made it increasingly difficult. "Tae, let me finish making breakfast."

"But you're more tempting than breakfast," Taehyung murmured, his lips brushing against Jungkook's ear before he placed a soft kiss there.

Jungkook shivered, his grip tightening on the spatula. "Tae.why .you ...wake up early ?."

Taehyung smirked pressing a lingering kiss to Jungkook's neck. One of his hands slipped under Jungkook's shirt, caressing the soft skin of his stomach, while the other ran up from his shoulder, fingers tracing gentle patterns. "How could I not wake up when my beautiful wifey isn't beside me?" he teased, grinning against Jungkook's skin before lightly biting his ear.

Jungkook's breath hitched, his cheeks turning crimson. "T-Tae..."

Taehyung chuckled, tightening his embrace. "I love calling you that," he murmured, his lips brushing against Jungkook's ear. "Wifey. My Jungkookie, my love."

Jungkook let out a soft whine, trying to focus on the breakfast in front of him, but Taehyung was making it incredibly difficult. "Tae, I'm trying to cook."

"But I'm trying to love my wife ," Taehyung countered playfully, finally pulling away slightly. He turned Jungkook around, cupping his face as he gazed into his big, doe-like eyes. "Do you know how happy I am right now?"

Jungkook smiled, his hands resting on Taehyung's chest. "Tell me."

Taehyung's eyes softened. "I woke up and realized I'm married to the love of my life. I get to call you mine forever. I get to wake up to you, love you, cherish you, take care of you. And I swear, Jungkook, I'll never let a single day go by without reminding you how much I love you."
