I stared down at my phone and saw Cailey's name lighting up my screen, then sent it to voicemail.

I had ignored every text message.

I was about to block her number.

There was nothing to say.

She clearly wasn't my friend and I don't have time in life for this bullshit. She chose her bed. Now she got to lay in it.

"Who was that?" Awsten asked me from the driver's side and looked at me from the rearview mirror.

"Cailey." I shrugged and watched him scrunch his nose.

"Still?"

"Yeah, I don't get it either."

"You really don't want to talk to her?"

"And say what?" The mumble flowed from my lips. "She's clearly not my friend and I know she probably told Josh some of our business before we were ready for that. I don't have time or energy to waste on someone like that."

"I totally get that." He nodded and I looked down at my phone again to see texts from Fran and Cailey.

Cailey:

Tatum, can we please talk?

Francesca:

Josh and Cailey broke up. He dumped her.

I snorted, keeping my phone down and tucked my hair behind my ears.

That explained it.

"I don't care," I leaned my head back in the seat as I continued to talk to him, turning so I looked at him again. "And these are my last few minutes with you."

"You'll see me on Saturday." He said playfully and shot me a cheeky smile in the rear view mirror.

"But still." I leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Thanks for taking me to the airport again."

"You're very welcome." He smiled, reaching for my hand and held it in his while we were at a stoplight. "You nervous?"

"A bit, but more excited than nervous."

"You're going to be great and have so much fun. I can't wait to see you."

"Even if you hate Lana's music?"

"It's not about her, it's about you." He kissed the back of my hand and gave it a squeeze after before letting go. "This is your moment. It's a huge deal!"

"You're so supportive of me." I leaned in and kissed his cheek before the light turned green.

"I will always be supportive of you. I promise. I can't wait to see my girl on stage. What are you wearing?"

"Oh my god," I laughed. "It's like this white lace dress. It's really...not me at all. Very Lana though."

"You'll look great in it."

"I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight. I'm gonna be so tired and wired at the same time - and nervous."

"I put a lavender oil in your suitcase. That should help you sleep some and calm you down."
