Tethered ? Awsten Knight

Next morning
December 23rd:

"Morning."  I said groggily and turned into Awsten's chest.

"Morning."  He rasped back, encircling his arms around me and moved his hands along  my back. "You gonna lay here with me for a while this time?"

"Mhm." I nodded into him and pressed my face into his neck. "I'm so tired."

"Me too. The jet lag always fucks me up."

"Same." I mumbled with closed eyes again. "How late do you think it is?"

"Placing bets?"

"I'll buy you a coffee if you're right."

"Maybe a little after 9."

"I think it's after ten." I reached over for my phone. "Are you going to give a drum roll?"

"Where?" Awsten rasped, then shot me a mischievous grin, grabbing my ass and started drumming.

"Oh my god." I playfully rolled my eyes, clicking my phone on to look at the time. 10:11 AM. "I win."

"Let me see it." Awsten let go of me with one hand and reached for my phone. I held it away, giggling as Awsten tried to maneuver us. "Hey!"

"See! 10:12!" I clicked it so he could see it from afar. "But you don't have to buy me a coffee."

"I'll buy you breakfast, how about that?" He pulled me back down on top of him, both of his hands on my butt again.

"What if I buy you breakfast?" I ruffled his hair. "As much as I'd love to rot in bed with you, we'd have to go now since we have a busy day...and where around here is still selling breakfast at this hour?"

"We can go to where my mom took you. They serve breakfast all day. We can satisfy that sweet tooth of yours."

"I have you right here though."

"Aw," Awsten's giggle filled the air as he squeezed his hands. "Are you flirting with me?"

"Always." I nodded, leaving my phone back on the dresser and tucked my hair behind my ears as I leaned down. "Can I kiss you or are you worried about garlic breath from last nights dinner?"

"We both brushed our teeth before going to bed, you know I don't care. Come here." He squeezed again.

I leaned in and pressed my lips gently to his, holding his scruffy face in my hands. It quickly turned into smaller ones, our laughter filling his room after we pulled back and our noses brushed.

"I love you." I whispered, pressing quick kisses all over his face. "I love you so much."

"I love you too...You gonna come shower with me?"

"We're at your parent's house!"

"They're not even here! Today is like the one day we can! Come on! We can be quick!"

"Okay, okay. No funny business!" I got off of him, backing off of his bed and was gentle on my ankle. "That requires you to get up."

"I'm getting there!" He flipped the covers off of him and got up, then grabbed me by my waist and threw me over his shoulder.

"Woah!" I yelped, hearing his laughter as he carried me through the hallway. "Watch my foot!"

"I've got it!"  We entered the bathroom and he sat me down gently, looking at himself in the mirror after. "Wow, my hair is crazy."

"Always is." I giggled, taking my shirt off and turned on the water. "I want to leave this brace off today."
