The bustling college campus was alive with chatter, laughter, and the excitement of students.

Among the crowd, Barkat stepped through the gates, her attention glued to her phone.

Her dark hair fell over her shoulders, and she adjusted her bag absentmindedly.

Lost in her messages, she didn't notice the figure walking briskly in her direction.

Before she could react, they collided.

Barkat stumbled, her phone slipping from her grasp and clattering to the ground.

Just as she felt herself losing balance, a firm grip caught her wrist.

Startled, she looked up to see the person who had saved her.

He was a tall, handsome boy wearing shades, his lips curled into a playful smile.

"Careful there," he said smoothly, steadying her on her feet.

Barkat quickly composed herself, her cheeks slightly flushed. "Thank you... for saving me."

The boy's smile widened, radiating effortless charm.

He removed his shades, revealing eyes that seemed to sparkle with mischief. "No problem, beautiful. But you know," he added with a teasing grin, "my charms are so appealing that every girl tends to fall for them-literally."

Barkat raised an eyebrow, her expression a mix of amusement and disbelief.

She crouched down to pick up her phone, brushing off the dust.

Standing back up, she met his gaze and said, "Well, I'm sure there are girls out there who actually fall for your so-called 'charms'..." she air-quoted the word, "...but they won't work on me."

As she turned to leave, he called after her, his tone laced with curiosity. "Kyun? Aap alien hain?"

("Why? Are you an alien?")

Barkat stopped in her tracks, half-turning to face him, her expression baffled. "Aur aisa kab kaha maine ki main ailen hoon?" she asked, her voice tinged with annoyance.

("And when did I ever say that I am an alien?")

The boy shrugged, still grinning. "Well, agar mujhe dekh ke kisi ke hosh na udd jaaye, aisa ho nahi sakta. Since you said my charms won't work on you, then you must be alien."

("Well, it's impossible for someone to not lose their senses after seeing me. Since you said my charms won't work on you, then you must be an alien.")

Rolling her eyes at his illogical banter, Barkat replied flatly, "I don't have time for this nonsense."

Without waiting for another word, she turned and walked away, her heels clicking against the pavement.

Hanan Zaidi-because who else could it be?-watched her retreating figure, a smirk playing on his lips.

Adjusting his shades, he murmured to himself, "Kamaal ki mohtarma hai. Khubsoorati ke saath nakhre bhi. Impressive."

("She's quite remarkable. Beauty with an attitude. Impressive.")

Still smiling, he slipped his hands into his pockets and headed toward his class, intrigued by the girl who had, quite unusually, walked away from his charm.
