Taehyung grinned. "And you’re already the best mom."
Jungkook giggled. "We’re really doing this, huh?"
Taehyung kissed his forehead. "We are."
As they lay in each other’s arms, the warmth of their love surrounding them, they both knew—this was just the beginning of their beautiful journey.

Time skip-
Taehyung had barely closed his eyes when he felt a soft hand shaking his shoulder.
"Tae… wake up…"
His brows furrowed in his sleep as he groaned. "Koo, just five more minutes… let me sleep, love…"
"Kim Taehyung!"
The urgency in Jungkook's voice snapped him awake. He sat up groggily, rubbing his eyes. "Babe, what's wrong?"
Jungkook clutched his swollen belly, his lips trembling. "I… I think it’s time."
Taehyung blinked at him, still half-asleep. "Time for what?"
Jungkook glared at him, then groaned when another contraction hit. "Time to have this baby, you idiot!"
Taehyung shot up from the bed in panic. "WHAT?! RIGHT NOW?!"
Jungkook nodded frantically, and Taehyung ran around the room in pure chaos. "Oh my god! The hospital bag! The car keys! Koo, breathe! Oh my—"
"KIM FUCKING TAEHYUNG!" Jungkook’s patience snapped, and without thinking, he kicked Taehyung's leg, making him yelp and fall onto the floor with a loud thud.
"What the hell?!" Taehyung winced, rubbing his back. But then he saw Jungkook’s teary eyes, and all his complaints vanished. He scrambled to his feet and cupped Jungkook’s face. "Okay, okay! I got you, baby. Let's go!"
He quickly helped Jungkook into the car and called his parents on the way.
At the hospital, Taehyung was a mess.
He paced back and forth in the waiting room, running his fingers through his hair repeatedly. "Why is it taking so long? Is he okay? What if he’s in pain? What if something happens—"
"Tae, breathe," Mrs. Kim said with a soft smile, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Jungkook is strong. He’ll be fine."
Mr. Kim chuckled. "I’ve never seen you this panicked before, son."
Taehyung groaned, clutching his heart. "Dad, I’ve never been this scared in my life! My baby is in there, bringing another life into the world, and I’m useless out here!"
Just then, a nurse walked out with a small bundle in her arms. "Congratulations, Mr. Kim. You have a beautiful, healthy baby."
Taehyung’s eyes widened, but instead of taking the baby, he ran straight past her. "Where’s my Jungkookie?!"
The nurse stood there, blinking in confusion, while his parents sighed.
"He really is hopeless," Mrs. Kim said, shaking her head fondly before taking the baby.
Taehyung burst into the room, his heart pounding.
Jungkook was lying on the hospital bed, his eyes heavy with exhaustion, but as soon as he saw Taehyung, a weak smile spread across his lips.
"Tae…"
Taehyung rushed to his side, taking his hands and kissing his forehead. "Baby, you scared me to death… Are you okay? Do you need anything? Does it hurt? Tell me what you need, I’ll do anything."
Jungkook chuckled softly, squeezing his hand. "I’m fine… just tired."
Taehyung leaned in, pressing gentle kisses all over his face. "I love you so much. You’re amazing, Jungkook. You’re everything to me."
Jungkook hummed, closing his eyes for a moment before opening them again. "Where’s the baby?"
Taehyung froze. "The… baby?"
Jungkook raised a brow. "Tae, don’t tell me you—"
The door swung open, and Mrs. Kim walked in, holding the tiny baby. "Oh, don’t worry, Jungkook. Your husband was so worried about you that he forgot about his child."
Jungkook rolled his eyes fondly, and Taehyung turned red.
Mrs. Kim handed the baby to Taehyung, and the moment he saw the tiny bundle in his arms, something inside him broke. Tears welled up in his eyes as he stared at the small, precious life they had created together.
"Oh my god…" Taehyung choked out. "Koo, look… Look at our baby…"
Jungkook smiled his eyes teary as he reached out, his fingers grazing the soft, tiny hands. "He's beautiful, aren’t he?"
Taehyung nodded, tears streaming down his face. He studied the baby carefully. His eyes, big and round like Jungkook’s doe eyes, stared up at him curiously. But his tiny face—the nose, the shape of the lips—was undoubtedly Taehyung’s.
A soft cry escaped the baby’s lips, and Taehyung immediately panicked. "Oh no, what’s wrong? Are you hungry? Are you cold? What do I do?!"
Jungkook chuckled at his husband's distress. "Just hold him close and talk to him, Tae."
Taehyung hesitated before carefully cradling the baby against his chest, rocking them gently. "Shh… it’s okay, my little one. Daddy's here. I promise I will always protect you, always love you. You and your eomma are my entire world."
The baby’s cries slowly quieted as they snuggled into his warmth, their tiny hands grasping onto Taehyung’s shirt. Taehyung let out a breath of relief before pressing a kiss to their forehead.
Then he carefully placed a soft kiss on Jungkook’s belly, whispering, "Thank you for giving me the most precious gift."
Jungkook laughed softly, tugging Taehyung closer. "We made it, Tae. We’re a family."
And in that moment, with his wife and their baby in his arms, Taehyung knew there was nothing in the world he could ever love more.
