The morning sunlight filtered gently through Sunoo's curtains, casting golden light over the sleeping pile of teens sprawled on the floor like a collapsed game of dominoes. The room smelled faintly of buttered popcorn and tear-stained pillows.

Giselle was the first to wake up.

She sat up slowly, brushing her hair back, and looked around at the chaos she'd grown to love, the mismatched socks, the half-empty bags of chips, the doodles someone had drawn on Soobin's arm with a Sharpie.

Her flight was in a few hours.

She got up, careful not to step on anyone, and made her way to the kitchen, still wrapped in a blanket. Beomgyu was already there, staring into a mug of hot chocolate like it had just proposed to him.

"You're up early," Giselle said, voice soft.

Beomgyu didn't look at her at first. He just nodded. "Couldn't sleep."

She sat beside him, their shoulders touching slightly. The silence wasn't awkward, it never was with them.

"Are you scared?" he asked.

"Terrified."

Beomgyu smiled faintly, still staring into his cup. "You'll do amazing, you know."

"Yeah?" she whispered.

"Yeah." He turned to face her finally. "You're Giselle. You've always been brave."

She chuckled, eyes suddenly glassy. "You're gonna make me cry again, and I swore I wouldn't."

But she was already tearing up. Beomgyu reached out and held her hand.

"Do you remember when we met?" she asked.

"You threw a paper ball at me because I was being too loud."

"I don't regret it," she laughed through her sniffles.

The sound of movement echoed behind them. One by one, the rest of the gang started waking up. Sunoo came out yawning with a hair clip still stuck in his bangs, Jungwon dragging a blanket like a ghost, Soobin blinking away sleep while mumbling something about toast.

And when everyone realized what day it was, the room turned quiet.

"Do you really have to go?" Sunghoon asked, voice cracking.

"I wish I didn't," Giselle said.

Then it was just hugs, so many hugs. From Sunoo's dramatic tight grip to Jungwon's shy tap on the back, to Soobin's long, silent one where neither of them said a word, but both of them trembled.

Beomgyu was the last.

"I wrote you something," he said, slipping a folded piece of paper into her hand. "For the plane. Don't read it now or I'll die."

Giselle laughed through the tears, nodded, and tucked it into her pocket. "I'll miss you."

"You better," Beomgyu teased, but his voice broke halfway.

When her family honked from outside, Giselle looked at them one last time.

"You guys... were my home."

And then she was gone.

The front door closed. The room felt colder. Someone started crying again, probably Sunoo and Beomgyu just sat back on the couch, staring at the spot where Giselle had stood.

"I hate goodbyes," he muttered.

"Then let's not say it," Soobin said softly. "Let's just say 'see you soon.'"
