Everyone blame the discord server they made me do it.
I said 1 or 2
And they chose the sadder option.
NEXT PART TO BACK TO FRIENDS
__
Their all hanging out, Oscar's there, and..Lando isn't dying. He keeps staring at Oscar, and Oscar knows it.
He catches Lando's gaze. Lando's world stops, but his breathing doesn't. Instead his chest is.. heaving.
Oscar can tell he wants to leave, he doesn't blame him honestly. Who wants to be in a group hang out with the boy that regected you?
Lando looks at George, back at Oscar, then back at George. Then he slowly moved towards him. Oscar stalks him. George pats him on the back, then lando starts walking away.
It registers too late, Lando's leaving. Oscar can't let him leave.
Oscar still likes him, he can't admit it. He likes him a lot. He should've dived at the chance when he slept with lando. He should've stayed.
He sneaks out after lando, "Lando- lan, where are you going?" Oscar asks calmly.
"I'm leaving, why do you care?" He huffed.
"Well- I was just checking you were ok.." Oscar says.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just leave me alone." He said, neither of the things Lando said reached his eyes. He didn't want Oscar to go, and he wasn't fine.
But he didn't know what to do, so Oscar just froze, staring at Lando. "What?" Lando snapped, "too dumb founded cause I'm actually hurt from what you did to me, still?" He snaps again.
"No, Lando-"
"No, your an asshole, and you know it."
It didn't reach Lando's eyes, Oscar can't tell if he means it or not. But Lando keeps walking, leaving Oscar frozen in spot.
__
Oscar had a dream that night, tossing and turning in Lando's bed, breathing heavy.
"No..no.." he mumbled over and over. Until he finally snapped awake, panting heavily.
He'd dreamt him and Lando, arguing, in the future. Lando hated him, he needed- wanted better. Oscar's always too busy for him, not giving him the attention Lando wanted or desired.
He looked at Lando by his side, tears streaming down his face, Lando didn't deserve him, he deserved better. He needed better.
Oscar grabbed his stuff, chest heaving, cheeks flooded with tears. He fleed out the room, he didn't make his side of the bed, he realised as he left the room.
Whatever.
He just needed to leave.
__
Oscar stands, that same longing, sad feeling crawling in his chest. His heart begs to chase lando, but he doesn't. He's frozen.
__
A month later, he heard nothing from lando, he's heading to the train station to go to the airport to fly back to Australia to see his mum. He already knows the look of disappointment on her face when she hears that him and lando are no longer good friends.
She'd always loved lando, saying 'he's such a sweet boy! He's perfect for you, osc.' He'd always shrugged her off with a shy smile.
But now she sees her vision.
Oscar looks down at his phone, arms resting a top of his suit case. A train stops infront of him, but it's not his.
He catches a sight of curly hair rushing on the other side of the platforms, he ignored it. The train slowly starts to move, the painful squeak pericing through Oscar's ears, making him groan.
He keeps his eyes trained on his phone until the train picks up, then he watches the last of the carriages move away.
He looks over the platform, seeing two people hugging, someone's legs wrapped round their waist, hands under the other boys thighs. Oscar scoffs, leaning back in his seat and rolling his eyes.
He looks up again, seeing the two kissing. Oscar's face falls, that's lando.
Lando's kissing another man, infront of him. He's cupping the man's cheeks as his hands lay under Lando's thighs to hold him up. And the worst part was, no one else was batting an eye.
Oscar felt like he'd just been stabbed, tears flooded his eyes. His breath turning into sharp pants. He feels like that night.
That man has enough time for lando, unlike him. Clearly had more money than him, gold chains and bracelets around his neck and wrists. Oscar swallowed thickly, watching the two pull away.
Lando looked so happy. He looked like that night. But it wasn't with Oscar.
Lando hugged the man tightly, his head tilting to the side. He caught Lando's gaze.
Lando's face fell slightly, he swallowed thickly. He felt like time stopped between them. Oscar could only wipe away a stray tear and look away. He didn't need lando to see him so weak.
Oscar's train stopped infront of him, breaking Lando's gaze away from him. He wasted no time, getting on it and sitting down. He pretended like he didn't feel Lando's gaze on him in the window of the train.
Instead he put his head in his hands and let out a weak sob.
__
The club is sticky, filled with life. Oscar's had about six drinks and two shots. Eventually, he finds himself behind a girl, grabbing her hips and swaying with her, grinding on her arse. Oscar's hands tightened slightly, thinking about lando again.
He needs to stop. Lando's happy- moved on. Meanwhile Oscar's suffering.
Maybe after this he won't be suffering? Maybe he would've moved on too.
He brings her home, kissing her messy, spit trailing on her jaw, her tongue. She tasted like cherry.
Not like chocolate, like lando did.
His hands trailed down her waist, kissing her neck as his arms came back up to cage her head in. She tilted her head back with a quiet moan.
Lando wouldn't of done that. Would've made some cocky comment about Oscar enjoying it.
He pretended it was Lando, even though he didn't want to. He kissed her neck, not Lando's. Hers.
She swapped their positions, straddling his hips. Oscar's pupils dialated. He needed this to stop, he can't.
She kissed down his jaw, neck, clothed chest, till she reached his jeans, that stupidly didn't strain or feel uncomfortable.
He needed to stop.
She unbuckled his belt.
He mumbled quiet, "stop.."
But she mustn't of heard him.
"Stop.." he says louder. This time she looks up at him.
"What?" She asked.
"I-I can't.." he trailed off.
She scoffed, obviously not needing to hear more. She grabbed her shoes and jacket, slamming Oscar's room door behind him. Like he did that very night. He pushed his face into the pillow and cried. Like lando did.
He felt dirty, he needed lando, he wanted lando. He didn't want lando to be with that man, he wanted lando to be with him.
Oscar buckled his belt back up for no reason other than for his own feelings that once again scraped and clawed at his chest.
He can't do it, he realised.
It's not that he doesn't want to, per say. He doesn't want to anyway, but he feels he just can't.
He doesn't want to get undressed for someone all over again.
Not for someone that isn't lando.
